  1. well said...agree. Hunt has years left compared with Melk ( who I really like as a player but every player has their Big day in retirement )
  2. Sorry but I felt it was a tear jerk comment session that told us nothing really NEW
  3. I would have Hunt any day over Melk. Unfortunately for this great player his best footy is behind him.. Hunt is still young and has a future. I am not impressed with Smith either as I feel he is another O Mc .
  4. Garry Byers, now there's a name for history... I always thought he would be a good solid player... Only five games to his credit and listed for just over a year... I thought he had talent as a ruckman... Here is a URL which brings back memories of his first game.. Some great players in that team and the Reserves too. http://demonwiki.org/Round+16+1962
  5. All I know is that he definitely has a Contract for 2021 season...
  6. I totally agree. Hogan was all about Hogan at the MFC and he took that individualism to Freo. He is not a team player - never has been. We and Freo are better off without him. He has an ago problem and does not play for "the Team"
  7. you are entitled to your views but please respect others.. Just shows how immature you are...
  8. I think comments here are unfair to the Clubs when you say " Two Clubs who could not get the best out of Hogan " Frankly Hogan is his worst enemy, Hogan being so full of his own self ability tore his playing days apart. Frankly we were a better Club without him. There is no room in a Football Club for player individualism.
  9. No thanks - already wasted too much time on him.... Once bitten twice shy
  10. Just a question: What if we retain him and play him at CFB - his old stomping ground... But of course get rid of O Mc...
  11. Spargo and ANB should be retained and despite your hate... they will be retained..... Out the door should be T Mc and O Mc and Melk (sad to say cause he has bee good for us )
  12. No...! what we need is a thread where members state who they will pick in the 2020 Draft and then store that info for five years to reflect on the errors made ..... Then we have someone to blame... ha ha .... James Hird selected Number 79 in the 1990 Draft... If you select right its a great advantage. Just look at Hawthorn: Pick 1. Luke Hodge 2001 Jarryd Roughhead 2004 ....2004 was the year Hawthorn scored big in the draft with Jarryd Roughead, Lance Franklin and Jordan Lewis. But the number-one pick was Brett Deledio who carved out an illustrious 243 games with Richmond. They also took Richard Tambling at pick four. You can’t win them all.
  13. I agree with your comments above but on Yze I see something that has been missing from the MFC for quite awhile and that is a devotion to the jumper and by that I mean a dedicated former Demon assisting and hopefully helping to lead the "Demon" way of Red and Blue Passion. Ask yourself when was the last time a former "D" was in the Football department leading the way by "Demon" example... Todd Viney was the last former Demon to coach our team back in 2011. Personally I would like to see Brad Miller back at the Demons even though he left in 2015 to move to Sydney.....as he has a great football brain in my opinion but that may be difficult due to his wife acting commitments and residing in NSW with his actress wife
  14. So well said.. Thankyou - I think you summed Nev Jetta up for all of us...
  15. This is just rubbish that is being spread by you because you want people to sit up and take notice of crap you post. How about getting your facts right first before you go and spread unsubstantiated rumours.. .Burgo will be at the Demons next year and the year after. He is …contracted to the Club.
  16. Not in my mind. O Mc is not a good "safe" player. Gives away too many errant kicks. He plays too far behind his forward player and frankly we would be better trading him. Frankly O Mc and Smith are deplorable players. And while I am at it I think T Mc's playing days with the MFC are over.
  17. Yeah one of my friends who knows another friend of his friend who is his brother told me............ OMG no class no substance I do not believe a word....
  18. Totally agree.... Oliver is contracted to MFC and that's final... He is not going anywhere this year or next.. Get over it guys....
  19. Yeah, bring Rawlings back home to the MFC...
  20. NOT if the list sizes are reduced to 35 as anticipated and directed by the AFL
  21. I agree with most BUT I would not have Smith in my Reserves Team if we had one. He is just as bad as O Mc Donald...
  22. A reasonable person would say that you cannot say it's Ok to deal with the concussion issues with Brayshaw which by the way started after he was recruited and say : one knock could set" McCartin back. One could say the same thing about Brayshaw... Seems to me double standards at play.
  23. You forgot about what the Club did for Brayshaw.. That sinks your argument.
  24. You do not know that. You just made that up.. The article in the Age said " he had total family support" so do not just make stuff up just to be smart..
