  6. He just needs a pair of think rimmed glasses and he'll be a dead ringer
  7. superb goal nibbler. most players in good touch.
  8. monster goal chandler
  9. Maxy made a quip on the podcast that Harry "just" had a corky and should be back for Rd 1. Not sure if he was serious though
  10. Even if the faithful turn out in full force, and thats a big if, i very much doubt there'll be too many doggies fans there. I don't think i would want to attend an away fixture, to see the team that belted us in Grand Final unfurl their flag. Not very appealing even if it is Rd 1 I reckon 55k to 60k
  11. I read some of the comments in the Herald Sun article. They were not good. General tenor was Carey was shafted due to political correctness and that Daisy didn't know what she was talking about. And numerous references to her voice which i don't understand at all. Her voice is fine. And so is her commentary
  12. Trac and Clarry are phenomenal footballers. The best double act in the league by far Max, Trac and Clarry were AA this year and Viney’s finals form was A-grade. There’s no better centre bounce quartet going around. No other unit comes close. And that’s before you consider Dogga rotating with Maxy We are truly blessed

Positive Lingers is out as well apparently
  14. BDA replied to dieter's topic in Melbourne Demons
I agree it was quite a frivolous affair. They mentioned Jack Viney as potential interviewee next week. Should be an interesting contrast, Max and Gus light-hearted style v the no nonsense Jack Viney. The dynamic between them will be interesting to observe
  15. Ah. I see now. Yep that is a pickle
  16. Per the ladder on the AFL website this morning all teams have played 7 games except St Kilda and GWS who are on 6 games
  17. BDA replied to dieter's topic in Melbourne Demons
About halfway through Maxy mentioned the lone supporter who peers over the fence to watch all the training sessions. He must be talking about @picket fence
  18. Some interesting insights here around Tayla Harris and Daisy Pearce amongst other things Melbourne AFLW coach Mick Stinear (22.2.22) - Whooshkaa
  19. Big games coming up and then finals. Life is good Competitive teams in each comps and both play with plenty of guts and ticker. What a time to be a Dees supporter.
  20. I won't have the heart to bag him anymore even though he's such a FIGJAM. What he did at the weekend was hero level. Huge respect
  21. I’ve been critical of quality this year but the games between the top teams have been pretty good. The Crows and Doggies game last week was excellent and this game was very good also. Saturdays game against North should be a ripper as well. Unfortunately too much of a divide between the top and bottom teams resulting in too many uncompetitive fixtures
  22. Sherriff for Magee If Maddy Gay is fit she should replace Jackie Parry. I know i harp on about Parry but she has offered nothing across 7 games this year
  23. And Kate Hore. We need them both in form if we're to win this comp
