  1. The throwing has reached ridiculous proportions
  2. Lions have to score the next goal otherwise its curtains for them
  3. A proper final
  4. Starting to look ominous for the doggies. They can;t get anything happening in their forward 50
  5. blatant throw libba. Ump pings him
  6. If the doggies make it to Perth they'll have travelled more than any other grand finalist. Melbourne to Tassie to Brisbane to Adelaide. It's too much. Not sure who wins tonight. Either way their journey will end next weekend in Adelaide I reckon.
  7. I think we can relate to the message in this tune given our irrelevance for the last 57 years (and brought to you with huge dollops of glam, cheese and 80's perms)
  8. Goody's son Eddie sounds like a crack-up. They should get him on sometime Great interview and great questions as well. It all comes across as honest and authentic. I admit I wasn't a fan of the podcast early days, i just wanted the boys to focus on the footy but i can see its value now. I think Maxy and Gus do a great job representing the club and are a great reflection of the culture that has been built over the last few years.
  9. Great viewing on a damp Saturday morning Would be great if this can be played on repeat in the stadium for an hour before ball-up next Friday night
  10. I’m delighted we’re playing Geelong I suggest people look at their qualifying defeat against Port. The cats wilted under the heat and intensity applied by the power. Allir Allir had a party down back. They were never in it. They made heavy weather of beating an injury ravaged GWS last night They are old and slow and past it I have no worries whatsoever about out mental state or mindset. The psychological boost from our comeback in Rd 23 can’t be underestimated. We were super focused and business like against the Lions. These are the new demons. We will turn up to play next week Heat and intensity to overwhelm the geriatrics. Dees by 6 goals
  11. I really don;t think we should be all that worried about playing Geelong next week. They are old and slow and there for the taking
  12. such a blatant throw by Selwood and he still has the neck to complain about getting pinged by the ump
  13. Mummy should deck Hawkins in a ruck contest the first chance he gets
  14. Whitfield is terrible tonight
  15. Not sure who's going to provide the inspiration for the Giants tonight. They're looking pretty toothless so far
  16. At least 2 Selwood throws so far
  17. Can't decide whether to mute or not. Love Daisy but hate BT
  18. Whitfield needs to show more awareness. Ran down twice already
  19. The Giants suffer more injuries than any other team. They just can't consistently get all their team on the ground at the same time. I hope they are able to muster some more fight and make the cats earn it tonight. Worst case is an easy Geelong win. I want to face a tired and weary Geelong next weekend
  20. Kate will ultimately be judged on whether she delivers a home base or not. In this regard her CV is impeccable. I don't think there is another man or woman more qualified for the job And I haven't seen her pushing a woke agenda either unless advocating for the women's team is considered woke.

I'm not against the idea of bringing Cerra in but it has to be on ours terms. We're not desperate so: Cerra has to accept a sensible salary Freo have to accept our 2nd rounder and future first. No player goes in the opposite direction (unless it's the Weid which i doubt they'll accept) The only way i see this happening is if Cerra is prepared to walk and force Freo's hand. I think his relationship with Freo is good so i doubt he would do this. Carlton still very much favorites for mine
  22. Depends. If Geelong or GWS come out all guns blazing and beat us fair and square then i'll cop it. They are both capable teams and sometimes you get beaten by a better opponent on the day. We've had a great season no matter what. If we waste our chances and kick 8-15 on the other hand I'll be frustrated as all hell
  23. A Bont love fest. A super player for sure but getting 3 times more votes than the second placed MVP is strange. Similar with the captaincy. He led them from first to fifth in the last 3 weeks of the season while Maxy was winning the minor premierships after a Herculean second half v the Cats When were the votes cast i wonder?
  24. Bernie Vince was our first decent trade for an age. He won a best and fairest. We haven't had a bust since. Superb recruitment over the past few years

Is Cerra really all that? I say hold onto Brayshaw and take our picks to the draft. Taylor is on a serious roll so i'd prefer to see what kind of diamond he can unearth for us this year The only traded in player i foresee over the next 2 trade periods is a KPF. Ben King or Harry McKay my preference. Keep our cap to cover one of those two.
