Good to have you back @Lucifers Hero. The Carlton fanbase are very despondent at the moment. They remind me of us when we were enduring the 2019 season. I have 2 separate Carlton fans I've asked along to the game and both have declined. One of them has lost heart and has sworn off going to games for the rest of the year. He's a ball of rage. The other is more of a fair-weather fan but he just wants to enjoy his weekend. I'm disappointed cos I've no one to banter during the game now.

The risks around concussion are well known. He's a grown adult. He can make his own decisions. Many sportspeople are banged up post career. I haven't heard too many of them say they regret punishing their body or would make different decisions if they had their time over.

Could a 31-year Lynch do a job for us? Very low probability but could we persuade Richmond to part with him. They've stuffed up their list management adding the GWS mids on long contracts and given they're on the downward slide, a new coach coming in etc. etc. they might just be prepared to trade. He'd have a shot at another flag so we might appeal to him. He's getting on and is starting to become injury prone so that's a consideration, but he could be a stopgap for a couple of years while Jefferson develops. We'd have to match the salary Richmond are paying him, but he wouldn't cost much in picks.
