  1. Seems like a really good sort. Best of luck Ben Hope we don't recruit the Fremantle digital content manager as his replacement

Our non-performance against the pies in '17 was very bad. Carlton coughing up a 4-goal lead in the final quarter was as bad as it gets They'll be a factor next year. Gotta keep Cripps fit but i reckon he'll follow a similar trajectory to Fyfe. Too much damage absorbed when Carlton was a one-man team. Walsh missed a lot last year as well, but I expect him to be fine this year They'll play finals in 23. Time will tell how deep into September they'll go.

Carlton's choke against the pies to miss finals was one of the highlights of last season for me. it was hilarious
  4. Tadhg Kennelly the only man to do it.

Joe Daniher can always be relied on to provide some comic relief. Lions worth watching for that reason alone

Reckon the time is right for Daisy to bow out on a high, as the captain of a premiership team. Her influence has waned significantly from a football perspective. Head to Geelong, absorb and learn as much as she can before returning to the Dees in some coaching capacity (and bring back plenty of intel from the Cats)
  7. Jason Taylor must have ran over his dog
  8. Gold Coast get A's or B's for their drafting every year yet are still hopeless
  9. Brisbane kissed on the [censored] having 2 top rated father sons. Jammy bastards North will be pleased with their haul and have picked up 3 excellent young players. The rest is just guesswork
  10. Mick Stinear said in his pre-game interview that the ground was a little spongy and that the ball wouldn't bounce true
  11. Glad we kept Freo's pick. I'm looking forward to the death ride next season
  12. I hope he finds a nice Melbourne girlfriend
  13. North have picked up 3 good players so far

I suggest Daisy and Mick Stinear holding up the cup
  15. It does refer to the Ladies senior football All-Ireland. She has won 4 with Dublin
  16. Eat plenty (soakage), make sure you get plenty of water on board and take 2 paracetamols before going to bed. Makes a big difference
  17. As long as he shows up Day 1 with the right attitude and willingness to learn and work hard, he'll be fine. As a supporter that's all I expect and can reasonably ask for. And the best players have belief. I've no problems with him aiming high. Nothing wrong with a bit of swagger as long as has the work rate and attitude to match.

Saw this thread bob up again so assumed JDG was up to his old antics. I'll be surprised if he avoids any assault or harassment incidents before next season starts.

Is it? I didn't vote Liberal in the election. My in-laws (Dees supporters) didn't either. Middle and upper class just as likely to vote labor or Greens nowadays. I agree with this. We've wasted enough time as it is. Find a location in the inner suburbs and just get on with it

We've won ALF, AFLW and VFL flags the last 2 years. Maybe we don't need these facilities as much as we think we do?
  21. He compared himself to Naughton and Curnow. Aiming high. I like it. Believe in yourself son.
  22. Welcome to the MFC young man. Best of luck
  23. You've just posted what i was thinking
  24. These young lads speak very well for their age. I don't know what I would have blurted out if I was interviewed when I was an 18-year-old
  25. Would like to see him sign on the dotted line. Don't want a will he won't he distraction like we had with Jackson last year
