Thanks mate. Hunter Casey as well?
-
Did Hore train with the main squad or Casey squad?
-
Verrall has a very bright future.
-
Inaccuracy hurts. Although the end we are kicking to with the breeze/swirl from the bay is a shocker.
-
Agree with all of this except….. small. He is far from small and my god will he crash in and use his size to his advantage. Proper power athlete. Will be a clone to Trac in body size/strength in a few years. Another gem 🕶️

Get a big cheer did he?

Jason Taylor Re-Signs on Long Term Deal (2021 Thread)
BC_1718_DC replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yes, no suggestion at all he’s leaving. Just that that contract was signed after the premiership. So he’ll be in for a renewal soon. it has to be an open cheque book because if we don’t give him that, 17 other clubs would! -
Jason Taylor Re-Signs on Long Term Deal (2021 Thread)

I believe it’s either out at the end of this season or next. -
Unless Melbourne rule May out for 6+ weeks, playing him this week over any other poses no more risk than the next. Keeping him out of the Adelaide match then playing him against Brisbane makes absolutely 0 difference to his recovery.
-
Well they have their VFL squads currently so I’m sure those players would just “transfer” over. I think the AFL’s lists will stay the same size, it won’t be a fully senior listed 2’s side. It’ll just be the VFL sides ‘fill ins’ playing the seconds comp with the fringe AFL players.
-
VFL bye because of the VFL v SANFL game which is linked to gather round. I’m led to believe there is a VFL practice match, unsure of the opponent though. As for the VFL/reserves comp debate, I totally agree it needs to come in and believe it will sooner rather than later. Both Adelaide clubs are now pushing to leave the SANFL and either join the VFL or push the case of a reserves competition. (Which in my opinion would be the right call). The WAFL and SANFL aren’t adequate leagues any longer unfortunately. Especially when there’s already 14 teams in the VFL comp.
-
Dont believe it’s rushing. If he wasn’t right, he wouldn’t play. If he wants to play and the club tick the relevant boxes keeping him out won’t make a difference in my opinion. He is at no more risk playing this week than next.

Further to this, Viney will train individually later today.
-
No Jack Viney because of illness. Club expect him to play.

Did you see the goals?
-
No. Petty can go forward as May will come in and if he doesn’t Tomo can come in to let Petty forward. As for Chandler, Koltyn could replace him or Woewodin could taking Billings wing/half forward role and push Billings further into the F50.
-
Perfect time to rest BB sure, not for Schache though😂
-
Didnt fly to Adelaide with Schache, McAdam and Kolt so I wouldn’t have thought. has also been playing off half back in the 2’s so don’t really see that role being needed. koltyn would be the perfect replacement for chin in the pressure aspect.
-
That was my first thought until I realised Casey play Saturday so those players who didn’t play will have flown back by then to suit up against the Borough! 😂
-
Surely not. Tmac has been awesome down back, don’t ruin the rhythm.

Bendigo_Demon did say he was there. Page 1. seems as though it may have been lost in translation but the post says no sign of Chandler, then Schache, McAdam and Kolt here too. I interpreted it as Schache is there with McAdam and Koltyn. Can see how others interpreted as him not being there though.
-
Schache is in Adelaide and did fly up with Kolt as per the training gallery and posters on this thread😂
-
Even if BB didn’t get up, I doubt we’d go with Schache. Can play Petty forward if May is fit and if not, Tomo can come into to let Petty go forward. Then play Kolt as a medium forward if we have to. lots of options before having to consider Schache again. Surely!

Every team has to have at least one based on the fixture. I think this trip will be very fruitful for us. Light/limited training week into a game is fine in my opinion and the players will tell you that too.
-
Feel like Woewodin would be the choice to come in, then you push Billings into the forward line and have Laurie as sub. To me that’s obvious, would love to see Kolt though.
