Kade Chandler Re-Signs for 3 Years
Didn't just get Reid. Got McGovern a beauty in the centre of the ground half way through the last quarter. Gov still in hospital from that one: https://www.afl.com.au/news/1168188/eagle-grounded-with-broken-rib-punctured-lung

Christian Petracca’s 2024 Season Ending Injuries
No malice? What about careless conduct or duty of care?! Name another player in the AFL that leads with his knee like he does. He has already racked up 4 victims that I can think of (I am sure there are moore, pardon the pun): Howe - concussed; Trac - almost killed; Witts - broken back; Noble - concussed

Please get off Clarry's back. Show some respect!
Wishful thinking. On current form, Mitch White is a better option. If only he had a contract....

No doubt the real victim Darcy Moore (like that other thug Maynard) will get heaps of sympathetic publicity now- Christian Petracca’s 2024 Season Ending Injuries

- Deep Midfield Issues
Unfortunately our midfield consists of guys that just can't kick and hit targets. Yesterday, our core midfielders had a combined total of 13 effective kicks (Oliver 4, Viney 4, Windsor 3, Langdon 2). Compare that to the Swans (against arguably better opposition on Sunday) whose core midfielders had a combined total of 47 effective kicks (Heeney 8, Warner 13, Gulden 18, McInerney 8). But the Swans are on another level this year (in particular, fitness) thanks to a $40m handout in government funding that helped pay for an altitude training room with 45 watt bikes not to mention having exclusive access to the finest talent in their area via their academy (e.g. Heeney from Maitland, Gulden from Maroubra, Mills from Mosman, etc.). And yet we are still looking for a home training base since 1965 ☹️- Maynard unscathed
Agree. Disgraceful. Hope the thug gets his comeuppance one day- Maynard unscathed
May was booed louder and more often today than Maynard. Asked the filth next to me why and the reply: "Because May is dirty"- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Fremantle

- Kozzy bump on Soligo
Not just premeditated. I have always wondered if it was a direct order from the coach. Has anyone ever asked the holier-than-thou McRae what his instructions to Maynard were before that fateful match? We had a birds eye view of the incident from Level 4 and it sure looked like to us that Maynard lined up Gus from 30m out. Still livid (and extremely sad and upset for Gus) over the whole incident. It was written in the stars that a Dees player would then get suspended under the new rule. The irony- Which AFL Footballer could be Bond 007?
