  1. I guess that's project #3 she couldn't get done, unfortunately. Project #1 Project #2 (thanks to consortium links to Scientology and China) All fart, no poo
  2. Beat our average attendance this year of 34,929 at home games
  3. No surprise. Didn't do a preseason. And chose a Nike sponsored trip to the Paris Olympics over her teammates. If she wants to be a professional footballer, she should start acting like one
  4. So 10 players aged 30+ next year, all of whom missed games this year through injury (except Jack the unbreakable). Let's hope they can all stay on the park next year!
  5. Why not? Nearly everyone on this site casting votes has watched the games, is a Melbourne supporter and knows footy. And if you don't think the poll is a fair assessment, then why does your favourite stat, Wheelo's player rating, list him behind 5 midfielders:
  6. Difference being Raygun is going to profit $$$ from it massively
  7. Biggest media pile on a club since the Essendon peptides saga. When will it stop?
  8. Unquestionably? Why then are there 6 midfielders listed above him in the Dland "player of the year"?
  9. When @binman said on the podcast 3 weeks ago, after getting absolutely pantsed by Freo, that he would be "shocked if we don't make finals"
  10. Never? TMac would have won his fair share of one-on-one battles over his 200+ game career! He has been a great servant of the club. Was an absolute forward beast in 2018. Pretty sure he would have won the majority of his one-on-one battles then. And he really gave it a crack this year as a 3rd tall defender, considering he is at the end of his career and all the injuries he has had to deal with over the last few years. But yes, his last 2 games have been horrible and potentially career ending.
  11. Josh Mahoney had a hand in all of those trades
  12. Exactly. Any chance Fullarton and Pup can get a game now under Goody? Nah
  13. So unlucky. Happened when he slipped on the MCC wing in the last 20 seconds of the game and got crunched by a Peatling tackle
  14. May - body is shot
  15. No. BBB not there. Sparrow has responded. 20 disposals to HT. One bad clanger though
  16. https://www.mcg.org.au/the-stadium/mcg-history/timeline 1859 "The first inter-club game under Melbourne Football Club rules (the basis of Australian rules football) was played at the MCG over two Saturdays, July 9 and 23. The Melbourne Football Club defeated South Yarra three goals to nil." 1883 "Arrangements were made by which the Carlton Football Club played several of their best matches on the MCG." 1890 "On March 7 the Melbourne Football Club became affiliated with the Melbourne Cricket Club" Doesn't really suggest that Carlton became a "tenant" of the G in 1883. The G was pretty much solely a cricket ground until 1890
  17. 10-5 free kicks to Carlton that quarter. 4 of them directly resulting in goals for Carlton. Usual bias
  18. Just more talk and speculation
  19. At least the 50 year member category is still around. Might be gone by the time we get there
  20. Agreed. But 3 ridiculously good kicks and 1 good mark/handball in the space of 8 seconds. Unbelievable. And if Howlett blew his whistle when the siren sounded, Jimmy (RIP) would never have then run over the mark
  21. And now listed as concussion. Weird
  22. Will never forgive TC for burning Robbie in the goal square in the '87 prelim - Robbie's last ever game for the club (RIP)
  23. Averaged around 15 disposals, 5 marks, 5 hitouts per game. And kicked 30 goals across 18 games. Similar stats in 2022. Just give the guy a chance in the seniors. Who knows - he may surprise everyone on this forum
  24. Yep I do. And I reckon he's p*ssed off
  25. Didn't Fullarton have 30 hit outs in a VFL match a few weeks ago? Classy by Goodwin to pump up Fullarton's tyres in public. And wonder if he noticed Pup's 24 tackles on the weekend? Didn't seem to notice/reward Pup's match saving one against Norf
