  1. And a key forward. Archie Ludowyke kicked another 2 for the AFL Academy today
  2. Finally won the tackle count! Effort, effort, effort. And it's amazing what message is sent to the rest of the group when big name players are dropped. Go Dees!
  3. Sorry, missed that. Still, a 1 second brief mention of the most integral guy in a 30 minute interview
  4. Barry Prendergast says hello
  5. Didn't hear Scott mention Stephen Wells once, the person most responsible for Geelong's list over the past 30 years. Still can't believe he picked a kid (Humphries) at #63, whose last game before being drafted was in the WAFL ressies GF. Nor picking up Atkins, Blicavs, Close, J.Henry, Z.Guthrie and Dempsey all in the rookie draft. Wells is the real mastermind
  6. Yeah pretty easy to attract players when you have $300m+ worth of facilities paid for by the taxpayer
  7. dice replied to dice's topic in Melbourne Demons
5 games into his third season and he has effectively taken only 1 contested mark so far this season. That is a massive concern for a KPF. Sure the delivery to him has been poor overall but there have been enough entries inside 50 (249 in total) to work with. He needs to go back to Casey and work on his marking and regain his confidence
  8. And the search for a decent KPF goes on.... 32 years since the debut of Neitz 7 years since trading out Hogan 2 days since the demise of JVR Potential option for the future, Archie Ludowyke. Kicked 3 goals against Richmond VFL on the weekend in a rep game from limited opportunity. As mentioned by @Chelly5 months ago, most likely a top 10 draft pick this year. How are we going to secure a top 10 draft pick for this kid?
  9. Wooden spoon won't matter. He has a lifetime free pass like Adam Simpson. He'll go when he wants to
  10. Learn to take a mark again....in the ressies
  11. Cmon, the home base problem has been dragging on since 1965, when we were forced to share our home ground with Richmond (thanks to Ray Dunn and the MCC). Multiple boards over the past 60 years have compounded the problem but the current board is now in a pretty good position to finally solve it with the Caulfield plan
  12. It's Mr McAdams fault
  13. With soccer balls
  14. And only 2 contested, one of which was a blatant push in the back by him on Guthrie. He must be dropped
  15. 2021 - 1st in tackles 2025 - 17th in tackles Simple. Win the tackle count, win the game
  16. Watch Casey for the rest of the year. At least they have a go
  17. And yet to win a tackle count in a game this season. Pup Brown 28 tackles in 3 games for Casey....
  18. That is incredibly harsh. It wasn't the sealer as there was another 10 minutes to go. And it wasn't an "easy overhead mark". He had pressure from Pike, thanks to a predictably panic sky high kick from Howes. Sure, Fullarton made plenty of mistakes throughout the day but he also did plenty of good things including his purple patch of 4 goals in Q2. Played on a decent defender for much of the game too in Kreuger. Time for Goodwin to finally give the bloke a go. He can be no worse than Van Doofus or Petty on current form.
  19. Sorry, you are correct. Played on Dempsey, who had 26 disposals and 8 marks
  20. That's what a lot of people said in '22
  21. Too much love and Ben Crowe brainwashing
  22. Kicked 0.0 as a small forward
  23. Unlucky losing TC in 2nd quarter. And Geelong got a bloody good VFL team
  24. It's a proper shootout
  25. All guts and determination Pup
