Trade and Free Agency rumours
Why not go after Sean Darcy from Freo? He grew up in Victoria... i'd be getting into his hear to remind him of what he's missing out in Victoria. He will be in Geelong's crosshairs in a few years time (played for Geelong Falcons) so lets get on it now when we have the opportunity. Is it a straight swap? If not who has to cough extra trade capital?

How Geelong Stays Competitive
I know right? How does that even happen for a team that finished top 4. It is absolute BS. I know some of this has to do with luck, but we have played 3 of our double games against top 8 while the Cats have played 2 teams in the top 8. The other top 4 teams have a similarly easier draw. Bottom line is we won the premiership so we are destined to have the toughest draw. But it was a bit of luck that made it harder.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Yeah but it’s clubs that release them from their contracts. AS far as I’m concerned he says he wants to be closer to family and the Eagles can also make that possible. They have a better draft hand so id put that to Peter Bell and say come to us with something palatable or don’t waste our time. Worst case is LJ signs with us for another 2. He still won’t become a RFA or FA at the end of that, so we can happily do the same again.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Is it WA or Freo ? We are lulled into thinking it’s Freo or bust. Last I checked there are two clubs in WA, both fulfill the go home factor. If I was Tim Lamb, I’m picking up the phone to the Eagles everyday telling him how good LJ is and that we’d take their 1st pick and some steak knives (be it a player or their 2nd rounder as well).

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
Tigers will need to reload in the draft this season. Dusty will request a trade to GWS, Cotchin, Riewoldt will probably retire. Perfect time for us to pass on our some of our picks for LJ to snare Balta l reckon.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Just on Sunday Footy Show Goodwin in a recent 3aw interview said something along the lines of “ we just ask him to play his best for the time that we have him”. Sounds like a slip of the tongue. I wonder how much this actually lowers our hand in the trade.

Farewell Sam Weideman
Those holding out hope for Sam are kidding themselves. He is just not up to it. We in the other hand need to secure a KPF. Was watching some Of BBB last year and there is a considerable difference in output. I think his knee is cooked. Geez it would have been handy to snag Walker.

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
Josh Bruce looks done I reckon. Turning circle of a semi trailer.

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
Got to give credit where credits due. Geelong look pretty formidable. Dogs defence is not helping them. 3-4 goals out the back just shouldn’t happen. They apply lots of pressure, which shows they are hungry. We haven’t seen how they cope with similar pressure. Let’s see it in finals.

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
Prediction. Dogs +10 frees and it will be talked about all week because it was against Geelong.

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
Bucks needs to take his goggles off. He’s no longer the coach.

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
What is the hype surrounding the pies. They are nowhere near finals quality. Very very ordinary footy side. But they keep getting the Ws. I can’t believe we lost to this mob. But expecting the boys to make a big statement next Friday night. Think Gawny will save a special rev up for the boys for this one.

The pow wow
I know what you mean but It’s the whole season on this particular stat and I actually think it has been quite evident. We haven’t been dog hungry like 21 - but I also think this is more by design and has probably gone a bit too far.

The pow wow
I think there is element of loading that has effected our performance of late but our pressure has been down all year - even at the start. ‘playing in 2nd gear’ , ‘just getting it done’, ‘winning ugly’ we’re being dished out in the first 10 rounds. The lack of pressure is obviously exacerbated by our loading program. I always thought the lack of pressure was by design . There is no need to smash teams early in the year - it’s a very long season. The wins are the important outcome and we relied on system to get this done. However 18th in pressure when our system relies on it wasn’t what I expected and I think the complacency has crept into the game. The focus on ruthlessness this week was to remind ourselves of what it takes to win in Sept, knowing that you cant just switch it on like a light switch - you need to build into it.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Two picks in the teens over two years are just not enough for him. I think we all want someone in the media to stop saying he is gone and ask how do you get it done, which is what they did with Cerra.

VOTES: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
6. Trac 5. Viney 4. Brayshaw 3. Petty 2. Fritta 1. Pig

CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Chandler waiting in the wings. I think you need to pull the trigger on that one. Spargs and Kozzy did their job. Doubt it will happen though.

My 3 word player analysis V Fremantle
Sparrow was good I thought. Harmes will struggle to come back in I think.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Logie was serviceable I think. Would be an improvement on Weid. But does he play when TMac and BBB are firing?

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Freo are off, but will get a rev up. I say it every week. Need a huge start in the third to pepper their response. We have been wasteful.

No frontal contact there either in Fritta. [censored] putrid umpiring

How HTB not being paid for us. I count 4 already.

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Let’s make sure we get there with some form and give ourselves a decent shot first.

Brayshaw to run through the middle tonight. Seems like he got his way with the new contract 😂
