I happen to believe that our 6 draftees from 2019 Draft ( Jacko Kossie snd Riv) snd 2020 ( Bowey Laurie and Rosman) are just as important In development as our Top 6 AA boys for our Club. Mist we're selected because if their skills in the game which we are deficient in. Disposal is our Achilles heal and Riv Kossie and Jake and Bailey are very skilled and smart small men who will add pace and cleverness to our playing stocks in the next fire years. Jacko was a No 3 draft pick too good to Ignore and has really exciting ball skills pace and handball for his size and age. Riv is a very rounded player off half back for his youth s as Nd plays like a 100 gamer on his composure and minding his opponent. I witnessed his magnificent almost BOG game vs GWS last year at the Gabba and no way would we have won without this young Tyro performing st such a high level. I even believe Riv ( and Jake and Bailey ) are kids who could end up as Captain of our Club or Vice in the future. Fraser Rodman has aN upside in size at 194cm, pace, marking and his endurance and tank plus he's not a bad kick and at 18 yrs had an AFL body to develop quickly on the wing especially. He will develop once he pickS up all the things on how to play st AFL level. Kossie is an excitement machine running tackling and performing at a high pace and enthusiasm and once he adds composure he will start to fulfil his potential and be a consistent goal contributor and assister in Ours our attacking plans for the next decade or more. All very important each one snd this group are vital for our future and I have high hopes for all which could add the pieces of The puzzle for our next long awaited flag. May they all have long and successful careers at the Dees.

PAUL RB No it was the Brisbane Lions That beat the Bombers in 2001 And Pies in 2002and 2003 for the 3 peat. Port finished on top of the ladder but choked in Finals till 2004 when they were too tough for an injury laden Lions outfit at the end of their magnificent run. Choco was Their Coach Till after they were beaten in the 2007 GF by The Cats who broke a 44 year drought and record GF margin of 117 points. In 2009 Choco was replaced at Porg and has been Assistant at GWS and Tigers And Werribee VFL team in the meantime. Lets all hope he Can guide us and Upskill the players to success.

Sorry you can't be back to go to the G for the game Kev I hope you and your family are safe ( in all aspects) and can get back ASAP. Hope you can get it on TV or a radio broadcast. I am flying down from Brisbane Sat and going home Sunday to see my immediate family ( sister binlaw and niece ) and to go to the game. Keep healthy and try and get back on one of the Govt flights If and when they become available. Don't quite know the rules re quarantining other than 2 weeks (14 days) is the go. Easy Move ANB to wing where his running is suited and Kossie takes a HFF. Vanders is too slow for a wing now and Gus comes in on the bench. I don't think there is any way our side will be selected with Vanders whose form In the AFL and fitness are doubtful IN and GUS OUT. Hunt gives us a versatility forward or back to run off and deliver deepish into the forward line or even score! maybe.

MD don't know what your quals are but the players are not idiots like you inferred. Leading a group of Players does not require a degree!!! good footy knowledge ability to relate to people and a lead by example mantra is not negotiable! Simple pick the best candidate and hope for a bit of luck with injuries, etc.

Medical subs are going to be Under21 (not 31!!!) Sorry but that's the slowest Melb team for years! Dont like Jetta (slow) and Baker (Form) Replaced by Bowey and Hibberd. Half Forward line too slow also Swap Tmac and LJ and start with Chandler. Both Petty ( Instead of Tommo) and Sparrow ( as med sub) give greater ability and pace.

Trac often Does the team thing, ie tries to pass off rather than have a shot at goal himself, when it's arguable If he would be better off having the shot. IMO he is our best team player followed by the group of players you mentioned. The on ballers have been accused of being selfish in going for the ball all together and not playing team footy.. Didn't notice that vs Tigers when Clarry played and the young mids also did some nice things. Yze has as his responsibility this part of our game inc. Gawny's tap work so I expect it to be kept at the forefront of his training for all the on ballers including ruckman. 25% improvement in this area of our game can be achieved and I trust Yze to bring home the bacon in this facet of our football.

That way there is no issues now When all Membership staff ( assuming more than one left) are super busy also Ticketmaster as well.
