THE SKY IS FALLING
Brown has kicked 9 goals in 3 games, there's still life left in him yet JVR has kicked 6 goals in (his first) 3 games The common theme has been the midfield getting absolutely smashed in our losses

- Kane Cornes
It's in Tassie :(- Angus Brayshaw
Gus had a fantastic 2021 finals series & deserves credit for being one of the main reasons the momentum shifted in our favour during the grandfinal. While he's capable of having good games in the role, he isn't a good wingman and was average for the entirety of the regular season. He finished outside the top 10 in the B&F, we priorised Jordon over Gus all throughout 2022 & specifically went after Hunter for season 2023 onwards. It's pretty clear Goodwin & co don't rate him as a permanent winger, nor should they given his lack of athleticism. The defensive running stuff is nice, but the better wingman (Hunter & Langdon) are capable of doing that and actually getting the footy.- Kane Cornes
Nothing major, just constantly knocking him for getting cheapies, his twitter is flooded with cheapshots like the below- Kane Cornes
He's a farqwhit Has moved on from Will Phillips to Sheezle as his punching bag this season it seems The first to crack into kids but don't you dare touch Corne-Francis!- Farewell Brodie Grundy
He's probably been one of our better players- Angus Brayshaw
He was poor outside of the finals series- Angus Brayshaw
An interesting tidbit: AFL Fantasy Averages (Bolded = contract years) 2018 - 105.1 2019 - 88 2020 - 79* (adjusted for COVID shorter quarters) 2021 - 66.5 2022 - 99.1 2023 - 73.8- PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond

Good year to have two top 5 picks- Angus Brayshaw
He's been a bit underwhelming but reckon Rivers start to the season has cost Gus some of his disposals- POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
- Stats Files - 2023
2021 Oliver 87% Trac 79% Viney 71% I don't think they're meaningful enough differences We need guys like Rivers & Pickett in there as a point of difference (and for development) Jordon is serviceable as a defensive mid, too I don't like seeing Sparrow & ANB in there though, they're ineffectual- Stats Files - 2023
- POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Does anyone actually know what Sparrow's role is? Doesn't win the footy Doesn't use his size to impact defensively - 1 tackle off 10 centre bounce attendances Isn't a link up player - 0 marks Isn't a forward Rarely hits above 65% time on ground Is there any particular reason we carry him every week? Also - so much for Pickett & Rivers' added midfield minutes, Rivers had 4 centre bounce attendances, while Pickett only had 3. For context, Jordon as sub had 3.- PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond

- NON-MFC: Rd 05 2023
They have Dogs, Lions, Swans, Cats in their next five weeks Only 'easy' game is against Hawks Think I'd tip against them in 4 out of 5 of those- 2023 Injury List
