I don't have to energy to debate the defensive running patterns of Charlie Spargo or Alex Neal Bullen and why they're indispensable.... But on Baz - he has the traits to be one of the best mids in the comp. Some may argue he was already up there in 2021/2 He also has the deficiencies to be Dylan Shiel 2.0 if he doesn't clean some things up Worth taking the risk in my mind. His style of player don't come round too often...

I could list about 15 guys he'd get a game ahead of for us but I'd cop CTE from all the facepalms!

I just can't see us winning the flag without a BBB/JVR combo. They might not be setting the world on fire but at least they're legit KPF's. I actually think Grundy has had a solid year, and there's a world where he and Max both co-exist and play good footy, but I'm beginning to think that won't be this year.

I'm skeptical how Grundy gets back into the side with Fritsch still to come in & with Melksham dare I say it borderline un-droppable for at least the short term He'd need BBB or JVR to really go off the boil

Grundy was worth a punt for a 2nd rounder, but the reality is he was always going to be more valuable to us in the back-end of his contract (to cover Gawn) rather than in his first couple seasons Gonna be interesting to see what happens at the end of the year should he not get back in the side
