Must've been a compelling week of development between round 2 and round 3 for him. Still can't over his sub debut and being dropped shortly after.

Our biggest issue has been not being able to attract any solid free agents during the 2021-2023 seasons, not necessarily stars but solid best 22 players to fill in the gaps. Given we haven't been able to do that, packaging up picks every year has hurt our depth.

AJ looks like a solid depth option which is positive but our foward trio should be Jeffo, Turner with JVR fwd/ruck Gotta play Jeffo (once back from injury) & Turner for the entire year to see what they've got We felt a tall short against the Suns

Reckon at full strength we still have a good maybe even very good best 22 even with the regression of some snr players. Once Windsor, Kozz, Lever, McVee come back Goodie probs gets 4-6 weeks to turn things round but it seems like the players have already checked out

No doubt. But the Pies didn't have a good young group of players to build around at the time (still don't) they bottomed out, we do (I think). Might not be a Nick Daicos in our group but we're not starting from ground zero. Pies rebounded quickly, we can too but we might need to extract a fair bit of value from a Petracca come end of year.

White may look at today and think there's no chance he gets a game at the Suns ;)!
