pies will have to get out at some stage but i rkn we will get the same number of 2nd/3rd rounders in trades next year and we'll just bundle and bundle and eventually get back in. mahoney got it on lock, he runs this ship
-
when you see what phillips and witho went for you'd be spewin that u just gave hunt two years, and have ANB and AVB signed up
-
reckon if we pluck the big pedo back out of the phillip island seniors he'd offer more than tmac next season

Welcome to Demonland - Pick 25 (Dees/Swans Pick Swap)
Turner replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
he does these types of things well but i think we're lacking in the ability to properly read where our lists at and whats on the market woulda loved another addition or two get creative, dont settle -
Welcome to Demonland - Pick 25 (Dees/Swans Pick Swap)
Turner replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
request to change JMs job title to the professional pick swapper. i love what he's doing with this he's clearly one of very few who has their head fully around everything going on. if we get richo to actually assess the list and target needs and impress signees then we're gonna be laughing in the next few years -
it makes u wonder why we were so eager to recontract smith when now tmac is going to be around as swing depth particularly prior to the list number announcement too

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Turner replied to Dee tention's topic in Melbourne Demons
raise the bat lads, terrific innings. 100 pages of pure football nuffie waffle go dees -
would rather cedric cox at 22yo with more upside tbh.
-
Ben Brown done a 1st round pick done or the draft picks in hand obviously outlining our intentions to secure one official word of APhillips trade or commitment as a DFA one of TPhillips, Narkle, CCox in a trade only then will i be satisfied ?
-
we let the pencil jakey spence go too soon ?
-
i think we will feel a lot more freedom next year - especially if we shed tmac this year. Jones, Jetta, KK, vanders, nibbler, smith, mbrown would all be looking less likely than not to be around in '22 and then u shed any of nieta, chandler, bedford, jordon, lockhart, hore that don't make the grade next year and suddenly we've got plenty of wriggle room
-
afl article i read reported he signed for 2 there? which surprised me because i also thought it was the extra year (alongside the homecoming) that drew him
-
bump, i wonder if we might look at him late if we can shift ANB and AVB on
-
dw i know what richards can do, odd flex but i went for a run and kick with him on the weekend, he's got me covered for fitness no worries ?
-
the exact same article that raised vanders and nibbler also name dropped Dunstan, Hewitt, Constable, Blakely and Brodie stating that the shorter quarters and smaller list sizes meant clubs were able to carry less midfielders especially slower inside types that couldn't keep up with the quicker pace due to less tired legs in game. also stated swans had a cap and list cram, i guess due to their rebuild they have so many 1-3 year players that are unproven and a fair few will start to drop off next year when they dont make the grade, v interesting where their cap squeeze comes from aside from buddy tho?
-
elliot wouldn't be on too much coin considering he couldn't get on the park for 2/3 years there. and it was during that time and before de goey existed phillips signed on
-
Gowers - 3 Cavarra - 3 Hayes - 2 RSmith - 6 Duryea - 3 Suckling - 7 Dale - 9 their version of Hunt - 6 Hannan - 9 spargo - 8 neal-bullen - 7 bedford - 2 bennell - 5 vandenberg - 12 when realistically none are afl level (2020 games played)
-
they still have 9 OOC so expect them to open up some spots especially with so many similar types there swans and dons but they're expected later after their current 2 1st picks Errol Gulden - swans is in the first round range and also Davies doesn't need a bid he can be pre-listed as a rookie by the suns under their concessions from last season. so they'll prelist him and Jeffries and then use pick 5 and thats their list full
-
freo ran Hogan, McCarthy, Taberner, Lobb with darcy in the ruck on a couple occassions or even Cox in the forward line when McCarthy or one of the rucks was out of the side. most recent example of going extremely tall i can think of EDIT: Giants had Cameron, Riccardi, Finlayson, Himmelberg and Jack Buckley? late this season?
-
hannan is exactly the same as about 12 other players on that doggies list in terms of output and looks lmao. fits right in with their band of mid sized so-so players. happy with this
-
plz sir could i have some more ?
-
brown has literally had one injury in his professional afl career and people are really calling him damaged goods. he will be the greatest steal in our clubs history if we can get him for another after pick 25. will kick 40+ comfortably next year
-
yes he's better than mbrown and smith but u gotta compare it positionally. id rather flip on a wing than any of hunt, nibbler, vanders, jones, tommo, harmes, baker
