Meanwhile . . . down at Glenferrie Road . . . .
nosoupforme replied to JTR's topic in Melbourne Demons
The problem with the Hawk supporters is that they are delusional although feel insecure with themselves are believing in a miracle to happen and win this game. Well buckle up and see a real team full of midfielders with brute force and power that will blow them like a rabble headed by Viney, Oliver, Brayshaw, Harmes, Jones and the best ruckman going around in Max. Why shouldn't we be confident. The Boys are on a mission and will take it a game at a time and let the Hawks stew. Yes we are on a roll suck it in. -
James Harmes The smiling assassin chomps at the bit to beat his man for his beloved club he followed as a kid. He has come leaps and bounds this year and he hasn't just improved dramatically over the last 7 weeks or so, he has been playing well all year. James has been given more responsibilities and has been successful at the task lately. However now he knows that he can take that next step and become an A grader , in my view he probably is recognized as one now. His game against the Cats in the Final was one of an All Australian standard. Well played James Harmes to me you are elite.

Changes v Hawthorn - Semi Final
nosoupforme replied to The Great Pretender's topic in Melbourne Demons
Garlett could be an x factor can chase is quick can kick goals and has the smarts has been ok in his last two games at Casey. Booted 4 against a side .that we lost to recently in Willy, The selectors will have to suss him out to see if he is switched on for such a big game. Wait and see. JKH is certainly a chance as well. Due respect for Charlie S, l wouldn't begrudge him if he held his spot. IMO. In Garlett, or JKH Out. C Spargo. -
I want to put in a request, Please Channel 7 can you put on the 2018 Richmond V Melbourne Grand final . I want to see Gawny's match winning goal. PLEASE!.
-
I agree due respect to young Spargo he has been serviceable. Garlett can smell a goal tackle and use his speed. Played ok in the last 2 casey games. Kicked 4 in a losing side last home and away game. Would be very valuable in a finals game.

Post Match Discussion - Elimination Final
nosoupforme replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
91,000 + at the G Felt like 70,000 supporting the Dees, incredible atmosphere and led from start to finish. Incredible football team and now l will always believed in this side that has been built since the Roos years. Now Goody is carrying on with his fantastic work so far. Viney is something special and Weideman is going to be something , infact the football club is in a good space. Yes! we can do it. -
Players Love you all! Weid Love you more Harmes Your a gun Viney Your my heroe To all Can't ask for more

Open Mike with Mark Neeld on Fox Footy (4/9)
nosoupforme replied to Hellaintabadplacetobe's topic in Melbourne Demons
WOW after watching the Neeld interview l was blown away. What a rabble of a club we were with the main instigator in Schwab. We are noway near those days now. . l thank the AFL for giving us Peter Jackson and steering our great club in the direction that we are heading in. Go Dees! -
Anyone that is scalping tickets to a finals for big dollars has no morals. Karma will get you. As for the Melbourne V Geelong game 1500 + dollars each? Find a nice hotel room between you all with some nice views, order all the fine foods and pop the bubbly. Watch the Dees demoralise the kittens and then Paint the city RED and BLUE.
-
When we win this week l will hug all my Melbourne supporter friends and share the moment together for the years that we have missed on finals.

Robert Walls is tipping the Dees for the flag
nosoupforme replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
It's about time that even Walls is recognising us as a legitimate chance for the Premiership and that means we have been playing good consistent footy all year. We stand out and why not have them jump aboard. l love that as it makes me feel proud of how our boys have responded from missing the finals in 2017. Win this week and we will have more admirers on the bandwagon. What a great sight that would be. We can all believe! We can all dream. -
Who would be your preferred umpires on Friday?
nosoupforme replied to DeezNuts's topic in Melbourne Demons
Nicholls and Pannell are two of the worst umpires of all time they do my head in .However l don't mind Chamberlain, ( Razor Ray) because of the friendship he has with Angus Brayshaw. haha. -
McLardy: Dee-surgence started with Stynes
nosoupforme replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Jimmy Stynes to Glen Bartlett to Peter Jackson to Paul Roos to Simon Goodwin equates to a MELBOURNE PREMIERSHIP. Although there is more involvement in this area Jimmy is the instigator. You kept us afloat in the early stages of our dark days. -
CLARRY hands down, he can make the game look easy and stands out like Dogs Bs ha ha.
-
Chris Scott - if he keeps rolling his eyes probably go blind. I like to see that! Selwood - keep ducking for frees and you will eventually thump your head on the ground I like to see that! Hawkins - Don't smile for G sakes you will crack your face. Oh! Fritschy owes you one. l like to see that!i Dangerwood Tell us how smart you you are, like a hole in the head l like to see that!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
nosoupforme replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
Preuss is 23yo 206 cm and 110 kgs. Big boy that can move well and has impressive tap work. Is from QLD and played rugby. Converted to Aussie rules at 16. Positions played Ruck and full forward and a ready made back up for Gawny. Contracted at NM till 2020. Why would we persue him? Because he might be a good insurance incase Gawny goes down he can certainly take a mark. Maybe he wants to come to us because he wants to play for a top side and learn from the best in Maxy. -
Melbourne have also won the most 3rd Quarters, 16 which is the Premiership Quarter. Well, l hope it is.
-
Clarry, He is a Gun footballer, Angus and Petrac they are not far behind. Congrats on making the under 22 side. The 3 Amigo's will be on display against the Cats next Friday and beyond. Beware of the 3 Amigo's for the next decade. They're out to get ya!

Well done Bernie you are a champion person . My Family and l are proud of what you have achieved in your career and blessed to have you as part of our great club.To us you are a Demon for life. Oh! and our cat Bernie say well done to.
-
The brothers in arms Petracca and Brayshaw. l can't and won't separate them, they are like my kids. I love them both 5 + = 10.
-
I respect your opinion, the improvement is there R G However he has been back in the side since round 16 and played 8 straight games and the team has improved as well. Played 66 games now and more experience than some given the nod in front of him. I am not disagreeing with you. I think we are on the same page. Read his Player Bio on the Melbourne web site if you have time. That explains it a little.
-
The truth is that he has improved not by much and although he has been given the exposure most recently he was always the better prospect than Oscar because he plays the game on instinct.Knows to take on the game on. I was so furious with him not been selected as first choice for Lever. Try and get him out of the side now. With respect Omac.
-
Frosty Isn't playing any different he broke the lines and ran hard tackled well and still makes his mistakes just like anyone who plays the game they do make mistakes. However tha'ts ok as long as he takes the game on and l rate him highly. Goody got it wrong when Frosty wasn't given the first option and was not given the second option either as he was certainly out of favour. Big bodied players have an advantage if they know how to use it. It took the loss to St kilda to realise that we needed a big body with elite pace to come in that could break the lines . Cost us dearly the most vital 4 points. We will move on and learn from it.

What is the reason for the jumpers worn today?
nosoupforme replied to Big Carl's topic in Melbourne Demons
I love the jumper and l love the club what more can l say. -
Geelong played 2 bruised free football games at the cattery against 2 lowly interstate sides and both were beaten by over 100 plus points. That means they had 2 training runs around the witches hats cheered on by there supporters sipping champagne and some others being farmers they had their glass of milk. We played 2 inform sides in WCE and GWS and beat them with sheer toughness. The Cats will be ducking for cover because we will come out like Demons and we will give them HELL! See you at the G.
