Fair point. Although I thought Geelong just started playing better. Be interesting to see if we run out of legs today. To be honest I have never paid close attention to our ability to run out a game after an NT trip. I always thought quoting our W/L record after a Darwin game wasn't particularly valid considering how bad we've been in recent years. Adelaide's ability to roll the 2nd top team gives me some hope that we can perform today at a high enough level to roll Port.

Hopefully if Adelaide's performance last night is anything to go by we should be fine!

Biggest fear for me is Charlie Dixon getting hold of us. Not too fussed about Gray, Nev will wear him like a glove when he goes forward. Hopefully Viney runs though Wingard at the opening bounce. Good player but man I can't stand him. Dixon is a beast and could give our inexperienced tall defenders some really big headaches. I wouldn't be surprised to see T-Mac head back early on tomorrow.

I would love to see Melbourne win (obviously), Essendon, Bulldogs and Eagles all lose this week. Start to get a gap between 8th and 9th. I would love to get top 8 secure before we worry about top 4, since I firmly believe once we have our best 22 fit and firing, we don't need a double chance, or a home final (although both would help!), we can beat anyone, anywhere!

I too worry about this. Look at the deals thrown at Scully and Boyd, and they shouldn't even by tying Trac's bootlaces. He will be the number 1 target for every club if/when he comes out of contract.

I'm calling no change. There aren't any of our best 22 available to come in. Don't think we can improve on the side based on available personnel. Can't see the point in making sideways changes just for the sake of it, so they will get some more game time into guys that Goody an co believe are capable of being best 22 (Smith, Stretch, Kent (maybe)). I really hope we can put up a fight. Hopefully we have enough on field leaders to stem the tide if Adelaide get a run on. Like Chunk did against Gold Coast and Adelaide last time. Make it a scrap.

Exactly. Frost went to cover Thomas and massively helped Nev out. Nev's reaction time to spot Simpson running past and get over to cover him, then out-body him and win the ball was outstanding. Great defensive team play that almost certainly saved the game for us.

Kent gets a bit of a beating on here, so will I be run out of town if I say I don't mind him? I like his pace, goal sense, kicking and ability to create scoring opportunities by using his pace to get it over the back. If he could bring some intensity and (vastly) improve his defensive pressure I think he could be in the best 22. I'd like to see him get another go at it.
