Goal Kicking reliability on SEN
We didn't have a represntative in the best top 5? Tom McDonald mustn't have had enough shots yet, he'd have to be up there. Don't think I've seen him miss so far this year.

Changes v The Blues
I've been doing this thing lately where I quickly sneak around opposition forums leading up to our games against them. Not sure why. Maybe boredom, maybe just want to get an idea of how we are perceived by opposition club supporters. For the most part, we aren't even mentioned, it's more about their own lineup. They don't talk about who will match up on Hogan etc. One thing is for sure is that they don't suffer from their own form of CFCSS. Mostly very bullish about their chances. And then there was this. Do we think we are tough?? Dominator_7 wrote: Their team is full of wannabe tough guy flogs. Oliver, Melksham, Lewis, Vince, Viney. Need to bring the same Physicality we broough against the Drug Cheats. Got close to beating them both times last year, so we know we can match them. Gotta get things right at the selection table, and we’re a sneaky chance. Absolutely spot on. I like the fact they think they're 'tough'. I think we should do the same. Reality is they can't back it up and when under pressure, they resort to sniping. We bring the pressure, they won't cope... Bring it on!! Go Blues

Is that all there is.. No 6
Excellent point. I honestly don't know how we are going. Each time we've played a decent team, we have lost. Have we improved since the Richmond loss? It looks like it but we won't know until the Crows game. Jury is still out for mine.

Round 8 Non MFC games
Gee whiz, imagine playing Carlton without the Curnow brothers. Not too worried about the Blues, but after last years two matches were way too close for comfort, not having those two will make Carlton much worse.

Oliver Can't Go #1
Saw TMac taking the p!55 out of him about this one on The Sunday Footy Show. Pun intended.

Robbo crowns North's Cunnington the best handballer in the comp, Oliver anyone!
Absolutely kidding himself. Good player and played a blinder yesterday but if you want to talk about the best handballers in the comp then it's Oliver first daylight second.

Casey Demons v Box Hill Hawks - Round 6
Certainly wouldn’t complain if he ended up with 35 touches.

Casey Demons v Box Hill Hawks - Round 6
How’s jack going? I’m as nervous as I would be if it was my first born running around out there?

I don’t care how many touches he gets, just want him to get through unscathed. Any updates?

My 3 word player analysis V Gold Coast
Don’t think Weideman should be judged on his stats alone. While I agree he needs to get more of it, his importance to the structure, making contests, giving max a spell etc all justify his position in the side IMO. Pedo could play the same role more effectively at the moment, but for now it looks like Goodwin and co have decided that is how they want to structure up, and Weid is the man. I think he’s shown enough to stay and develop until he starts costing us games. Not everyone can take 10 marks and kick 5 every week, but if weed is playing his role which in turn releases T Mac or Hoges to do their damage, then he stays in. Apart from that, nice work as always.

Changes v The Blues
Weideman will not be dropped. End of story. Once we are all past that for this week we can start talking about who will really make way for Viney. ANB and Harmes in particular almost excluded themselves from the conversation with their efforts tonight. It almost has to be Tyson doesn’t it? I’m a Tyson fan but who else do you drop that plays a similar role? Hate to be a selector this week.

Which of our young stars will end up our best player
And to think we were laughed out of town for taking Oliver over Parish. I think Oliver will be by a nose over hogan. Hogan such a rare commodity with his size, athleticism, ability to take contested marks and hit the scoreboard. But Oliver is a freak. Both generational talents and I am stoked to have them both. Also think brayshaw will climb everyone’s lists by the end of the year.

Our performance on the MCG
Couldn't agree more with this. It seems like we are far more willing to attack at Etihad, perhaps because it is easier to defend?

Clarry is a BEAST
Yeah don't get me wrong, I would love to have Cripps at the Demons, I would just take Oliver first every day of the week. While they have similar numbers at the same stage of their careers, I think Oliver is better at releasing players into space, his vision and decision making in tight is the best I've seen. He's a better tackler and he is a better kick (when he kicks). I also rate him better overhead. I think Oliver is a 10/10 while Cripps would be a 9.5. I might be biased though.

Clarry is a BEAST
I think the the stigma around his dive is wearing off and opposition supporters are starting to grudgingly respect the fact he is an out and out gun. Every time he was mentioned in any social media post last year there would be a string of comments about his dive. These days, they have thinned right out, and mostly you get people arguing about who is better between him and Cripps. We all know the answer to that one.
