  1. I was thinking the same thing with Daniel dead ringer to Mcgoverns build.
  2. Sounds like some promising bits of business by the club. Awesome news, welcome to the club Kye and Daniel.
  3. "The Dees play bruise free footy" i remember it well circa 2011, i hope someone lines him up in a legitimate tackle or bump.
  4. It makes complete sense football state, understand the MND concept, can get a crowd, Collingwood already coming to Adelaide, short travel both teams can fly in- fly out. Big Freeze can be set up on the iconic Hill near the famous heritage listed scoreboard would make for amazing viewing. Plus the Adelaide Demon Army would be up and about. Would be good prep for Port in 6 weeks time. No Brainer.
  5. In the big games yes, deserves his spot thus far.
  6. Where's Fritta? strike me pink, Green has been injured the last 2 weeks.
  7. oh [censored] here we go.
  8. The Dees Squeeze lives.
  9. This marquee event deserves a crowd at the game and what better venue to provide that in the current climate than the picturesque Adelaide Oval. If the SA government come to the party and allow the teams the short flight in and flight out it would be a win, win for everybody. The locals would get behind it because its for a good cause and a better spectacle for TV audiences. No brainer.
  10. Agree 4 points is the most important aspect in a footballing program and it always should be. Money, sponsorships, memberships are the flow on effect from winning games of football and being a successful brand will attract $$$. You do the best thing for your football club where success is concerned, in regards to ground relocation keeping it away from QLD is and always should be a football based decision not a financial one. 4 points over cash.
  11. The ultimate downhill skiers Port. Putting us to the sword off a 4 day break.
  12. The ball is in our court i tend to agree with Garry with an overs offer north of the quoted figure of $700k, we hold the cards here. Make it worth while for the club to benefit big time, we are the big ticket item so we should make hay while the sun shines if the requirements are met. @binman makes some valid points with accommodation and the like, but the offer from Bris Lions has to be extraordinary to give up home ground advantage for a prime time Friday Night game. Make no mistake this team in its current state of mind can take on anyone, anywhere, anytime, but it has to be on our terms, if not play it at the SCG or Giants Stadium. We are playing currently to consolidate a top 2 position, this choice shouldn't be taken lightly like previous decisions have in the past.
  13. [censored] em we want a premiership, we need the 4 points to consolidate top 2. We don't need to give these canetoad loving mongrels a leg up by playing at the Gabba. We don't need there cash, they are up to their eyeballs in debt and they've got the gall to becoming big time Charlie's an calling shots. We will make up the Alice game later on in the year against Hawthorn collect the cash and 4 points and be on our way. Play at Giants Stadium, thanks AFL. We're not dependant on the AFL anymore we pay her own way now, we'll make our own decisions thank you very much for the concern but we've got this.
  14. Hang your heads in shame AFL, absolute disgrace, great way to support and promote the Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous round.
  15. Good win last night old dee?elite heat was brought and exposed them.???
  16. This would be massive for the NT i can understand their government's position its a shame they want to give up this oppourtunity prime time Friday Night, they have been loyal to us in the darkest of times. Would be extremely cruel to prevent them from such a marquee event one in which they thought would never eventuate. I understant covid is the issue but the players, staff and coaches are quarantining at home and aren’t in contact with others from the public.
  17. It's been a long time coming.
  18. Enjoy this you poor bastards in Melbourne town. This will keep the human spirit alive a performance like this.
  19. Concussion Red. subbed out for Sparrow.
  20. He's back in a big way Harmesy.
  21. The heat was too overwhelming for the poor little doggies, on their own patch aswell. Tail between their legs. Jog on doggies jog on.
  22. He is a weapon Brayshaw. Been harping on about him for weeks rag dolled Bont on 3-4 occasions. Huge result lads.
  23. Melbourne Demons Robots in disguise. Queue Transformers theme music.
  24. If the Dees bring the elite heat they have demonstrated they can on any given contest, we will expose the greatest weaknesses the Bulldogs have in their backline. We destroyed the Reigning champs at their own game, the Reigning champions exposed the Bulldogs greatest weakness. We played Tiges at full strength and conquered, there is more to these Demons than meets the eye. What an occasion to send out a clear message that we are the Demons and were here to play for keeps. Anywhere, anytime, Forever Demon Strong.
  25. Roof open or closed? Anyone in the know?
