POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Your right and most supporters agree with you as the noise level really goes up when their runs start.

Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
The same way Geelong kept all their players I would say.

NON MFC: Rd 07 2021
Having just watched the Saints V Hawks game, and the poor turnout of Hawk supporters, maybe those that gave up our club decades ago to support the Hawks may well want to come back into the Demon fold. As you left in the first place to chase success we do not want you back. Our supporters have much stronger backbones having gone thru many dark days and deserve any success that will happen this year and the future.

Probably the same cheer squad members then and now.

Just spoke to my neighbour regarding Collingwood's banner mistake. Older volunteers cut out the letter's and figures from a memo issued by the club (which had the spelling mistake) and the cheersquad assembled it to the "club memo". The mistake was pointed out to them but we saw the result. As my neighbour pointed out to me Collingwood have far bigger problems than a misspelt banner. That's all for TONIHGT folks.

Will speak to my neighbour as he was involved in making the banner yesterday. Great ammo for me. Haha

Snow Joke
I miss Channel 10 broadcasting footy as someone there always made sure the camera's focused on toothless supporters in shots after a goal. Perpetrate the myth I say.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Let's not forget Yze as well. I feel with both Williams & Yze coming to the club, their experience and expertise has helped lift Goodwin to a new level which has filtered down thru the playing group. Also a special shout out to Darren Burgess who has taken fitness levels to a new high resulting in the team playing out the final quarters so strongly. SO PROUD OF THIS CLUB.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 v Hawthorn
If that was the case the 35% Melbourne supporters were VERY loud all day. Not sure they had 65% as they were thinly spread out so maybe looked more than they actually were.

Training Ground?
Just a thought.

Training Ground?
Why not demolish AMMI park and get the Storm and Rebels to play at "Mickey Mouse" stadium and totally rebuild a facility for the MFC. Would be an ideal location with a bridge over the railway lines to the "G".

Round 1 Crowd
I was told by a friends who works in the MCC that they only allowed 8,000 patrons in yesterday. Where I sat there was heaps of space. People just moved to where they wanted to sit rather than their allocated seat.

Training Ground?
Absolutely no parking around the area so a major hurdle.

Training Ground?
I personally would be very happy with this move as I live in Rose Street just three minutes walk. Within a block I have met 12 neighbours who follow Melbourne. By the way the pub has closed permanently.

Hassa Mann Turns 80
I was right behind the posts and it was an absolute goal.

Life in Australia - Melbourne 1966
Good to see again and the banners that we made. Oh for those days again - and the umpires umpired to the rules not interpretations.

Free Kick Differential 2020
Interesting West Coast figure but then they didn't play many matches at home.

1964 and all that ...
Great year 1964. The closing match at the mud heap (Glenferrie Oval) probably was the first time I heard a crowd chanting Melbourne Melbourne etc. Exciting win. MCC were great in letting us in early to put banners up and we made the old girl "Greysmith Stand" look good. After making the Granny we were at the Prelim and at three quarter time we went and queued up outside "T-Section" and stayed there all week to get the seats behind the goal. Parents kept coming in with food etc and snuck home during the day for showers. Black & white filth were more than us and we got pushed to the side but still a formidable support for the Dees. The rest was history and after the match, having been there all week, wasn't sure what to do but the Club turned on food and drink outside the change rooms and never got home until Sunday. Sure we were young then and not quite sure how I would handle a flag these days. I'd give it bash though. I have, like most, been really patient waiting for the next.

Are we the oldest sporting club?
Correct.

Sorry for late reply. Come to think of it - no I never have. So why am I surprised that I never got this one. After such a season I thought we should all have received one.

Only been a member for sixty (60) years and I never received this email AT ALL. Sort of sums the year up for me. VERY POOR MFC.
