This post game thread is as neurotic as it gets. Always looking for negative's to confirm the long held belief that 'we're never good enough', so that when we inevitability lose (and we will, just a matter of pre or post grand final) we can go into self protection and fall back on 'I told you so?

With Sam Mitchell flagging significant changes at Hawthorn - I'd be inclined to offer something to wedge Luke Breust out of there, or perhaps Jack Gunston (though he is like for like with Fritsch for mine).

For those complaining about goal kicking accuracy, it probably pays to get a little more forensic than merely looking at goals and points. I find the AFL app (surprisingly) good at giving a breakdown. By my reckoning, that's 18 goals kicked, plus 13 points kicked (5 posters) and 7 rushed behinds.

Hmmmm....end of the intense loading phase in recent times, not sure whether it is a correlation or causation that a performance like this has occurred. (at least, what we can perform as, not the Suns)

I'd argue it's not an artform - they play worse over here, and more consistent at home. Is it merely some CBF's for them when they're here? Maybe... It'd be great to get some stats, on teams, or interstate teams that win back home after losing interstate. Debatable if it has a thing to do with pride/emotions.

Interesting how it's only other teams that 'get up and are hungry' after a loss, never the Dees. Each game is an individual entity - and has no baring on the next.
