  1. the one's in bangladesh?
  2. 100% - would love that to be an option in every game...
  3. Nice graphics in this literature
  4. Mmmmm, true that, my 4 yo loves board games.... methinks I'll have to get on his program if it all comes to fruition.
  5. If this is true - then this article from Vanuatu may be a good read. It's the boredom that makes it hard.
  6. Are you Jeremy Cameron’s Mum? An aside, I drove through Dartmoor last week, not much there.
  7. Courageous act to put this out there... well done.
  8. Dang! I Should have come here first for that discount info! Looking forward to travelling in on the train to some games, rocking the look. Some how I think these sneakers will look alright with jeans..
  9. cheers Chook, you may have not taken in my previous post. I am cynical, and I agree, yes they are legitimately doing from a perspective of care AND to reduce litigation, though I can't be bothered to quibble over how much is driven by either reason.
  10. Yes, I see your point clearly, and like any organisation the focus is on reducing litigious capacity now due to the current climate, and reducing culpabilities for past wrongs.
  11. Having worked with a particular clubs players - one of the hardest things to do for a player on the cusp, but not fully entrenched (only roughly 5-8 at this club were/are guaranteed staters weekly) is to move the individual away from a notion of what ‘influence looks like. For all players brought up - it is hands on the pill... this changes in club land. It’s a hard rule to break, if Goodwin and co can do it - for those that feel unsure about their role and to compete in a role safe and secure that even if I don’t touch the pill I am safe as there are a plethora of other ways to demonstrate I am doing my job, then the team and the individual will have more consistent performances.
  12. This game is looking after the welfare of those that deliver you your weekly entertainment package...
  13. You deserve a beer for always typing Jeelong. Seriously...
  14. Well, I don’t care for football anymore, for obvious reasons. Let’s get meta. But, I think we can differentiate between, ‘Most Hated Team’ vs ‘Most Hated Supporters of Teams’. For me, it’s Geelong and Hawthorn who understandably ooze smugness and of course everything is cyclical/on a pendulum- and now its Richmond.
  15. @Satyriconhome - how does it come to pass that folk are confused? Is it delivery? Is it the player? Is it generational? What’s your take?
  16. Ah, maybe I was looking too deep - it’s who you omitted. No mention of Goodwin as part of the ‘change’, just Burgess and ‘his’ team. Which if I’ve inferred correctly - means none /or little of the change in team from your perspective comes from Goodwin, which feels unfair from my perspective.
  17. The funking hilariousness of blanket statements being made on the basis of a qrt. It’s preseason, for all
  18. Agreed, I thought it was scientific fact that you can’t on a mark... seriously go out to a training ground and force your eyes to watch the ball in to your hands as you are running towards it and a mate spears it at you at full tilt. It’s quite hard to do.
  19. I disagree with you on this one @Clint Bizkit, although I liked watching him, he isn't suited to what the program was building. The way I look at Frost was that although he had amazing, seriously amazing closing speed, which looks sexy, he lacked composure with the ball either by hand or by foot. His marking was also hit and miss. We want composure out of the backline, which also helps that same backline when one of the backline members turns it over, 30-60 metres up the field. Frost did not aid that. Just on Frost, for mine the curiosity is why Clarkson and Co took him.
  20. I clearly have my blinkers on re: Goodwin, I rate him. For those that don't - help me understand what doesn't float your boat about him? Is it no plan b? Is it he gives nothing at press conferences, therefore must act like that day to day?
  21. By going on the MFC website you can access the plan. Here is a snippet.
  22. Goodwin should have had a plan B for all those injuries...
  23. I mean, 'relax' is one approach @Rab D Nesbitt, the tried and true method I find is to, 1) look forward to Friday/sat/Sun pre game each week, 2)feel disillusioned post game, 3) then move into sullenness, 4)then bargain with whoever your jesus is weekly, 5) then jump on Demonland to either find hope and/or spout bile. 6) and then try to avoid eye contact with colleagues who support anyone who is higher than you 7)... RINSE. AND. REPEAT.
