this annoys me so much. surely we just have to wear the clash when playing away against teams that are also red/blue/black, like essendon. why can we not follow the EPL model, where they have a home strip, an away strip that is pretty much the opposite, and then a 3rd strip that is worn extremely rarely, and only in cases where both the home and away would clash. its not [censored] rocket science people. we could have a blue/red one, a red with some blue one and a white one we rarely rarely wear. the red one should be worn against the likes of st kilda. as for collingwood - they at least look very white when they have the 3 black stripes and white shorts, and very black when its the other way around. they even wore a even blacker version against north last year. as for essendon - those arrogant [censored] can [censored] off. red shorts? how about no.

The only way to do it is to have discretion at which teams get a priority pick. We won 12 games in 3 years. 13 and we miss out. Did we deserve one? Hell yes. If port are [censored] again this year, despite trying to win games the whole time, then yes, they deserve a pick. It not rocket science. I don't believe being in the leadership group is an automatic, you're in the team this week. You can be an awesome leader but out of form etc for whatever reason, and not be in the team. IMHO 22 spots are up for grabs every week.

id agree with this. but since the eddie ad on foxtel says that footy is the best thing god invented and ignores the great melbourne football club id say probably not. of course....if god invented footy - that makes the MFC god.

i think that its more of a case of, if they are destroying gws for 4 qs instead of just playing one and cruising, it will show that they are actually going somewhere, and their motivation will be to play as well as they can all of the time, and not just win even though they didnt play very well. if that makes sense.

free agency should have an interesting effect on the competition - we will find out who is just hungry for money, who is loyal and who would move clubs and take a pay cut to go to a top team. IMHO we should be reasonably set up for this now - salary cap room, excellent facilities and we "should" be on the up. teams like port adelaide and north melb should be concerned - not on the up, port has no money, why would you want to go there? what it should do is slow down the up and down cycle. teams who are down will probably stay down for longer, as teams who are up will stay up for longer as they will be more attractive to free agents. IN THEORY.

hell yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! answer me this - 80 min game. if you get 30 touches, you may have the ball for say 2 seconds each possession - thats a minute out of 80. so what do you do for the other 79 mins? you run your guts out, support the bloke with the ball, you man up and you defend like your life depends on it! edit: ok so my question was rhetorical.
