I teach in Churchill and the kids were pumped to get to meet afl players. One of our aides is a Melbourne lass and she nearly died when davey came out of the bus. I now call her the teenage groupie. Anyway jack came to us (in our Melbourne jumpers) and gave her a hug and shook my hand. Said he was very excited for the future. Also answered a kids question about the best thing about afl with something along the lines of, it's great playing with your mates and celebratingfterwards with your mates.
