lets take this apart. 1. a lot of other clubs did do it. and are on record (terry wallace). this is not a defence against the charge as such, but is certainly worth pointing out. 2. evidence gained by indimidation is inadmissable. 3. a joke is not an order or a directive. it is also not intimidating. 4. melbourne is not too weak to be punished. 5. there is NO EVIDENCE. "players out of position" - every club forever has done this. it is called development. "players fumbled" - we were terrible. the end.

last week my grade 3/4 class and i had a quite deep discussion of what "normal" is. we basically came to the conclusion that normal is something you see reasonably often. a flying human wouldnt be normal if youd never seen one before, but if everyone flew it would be quite "normal". i am sure that to most people, seeing a group of men and women disect the size and strength of a young mans chest may not be considered "normal". infact, it would probably be considered quite strange......... and yet.... watts does look bigger. but there is still room for improvement.

If the bombers boys have been given or injected with something illegal, but is in a vitamin box, container etc and they are told its vitamins and it looks like vitamins, its hard to see how they have done anything wrong. i prefer the idea of a composite ladder over the last say 5 years. no one would want to be [censored] for 5 years just to get a draft pick. if a team was amazing for 3 years and then fell in a hole - they still dont deserve good picks just because they were crap for 2 years.
