  1. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/the-dream-that-never-dies-20130515-2jmx6.html probably the best article i've ever read.

  7. we have to have white but it is ILLOGICAL to have white.
  8. white is bulldust. fair enough we have to wear a different jumper away at port. why cant that be red? same thing v carlton? against the saints RED OR BLUE would be better. freo same thing. and west coast. infact the only team you could argue red doesnt work for as an away jumper is essendon........and they are a disgusting club.
  9. not funny, just so bloody frustrated.

  11. Demons insiders say the February disclosures show the club did not set out to mislead the AFL, as has been widely reported. But the insiders acknowledge that Dr Bates did not disclose to the Thurin review that after he had discussions with Mr Dank last December he told co-captain Trengove to apply a cream to his foot injury. The cream contained the anti-obesity drug, AOD9604. the cream is legal. nothing to see here. The AFL is furious that it only recently learnt that this drug was used and officials also suspect that Melbourne staff outside of Dr Bates may not have been forthcoming with the league about Mr Dank’s activities. The AFL clearly has no idea. Read more: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/essendon-find-bill-for-banned-drug-20130426-2ikou.html#ixzz2RaF087l3
  12. Confidential documents show the Demons told league officials in February that their club doctor, Dan Bates, had "communications" with Mr Dank and that players had been given vitamin injections at an external clinic. •Dr Bates failed to disclose in an internal club review in March that he had asked co-captain Jack Trengove to use a cream containing an anti-obesity drug banned by doping authorities this week. 13. logically a cream would have far, far less of the active ingredient in it than an injection, so much so that a cream would make no difference to performance.
  14. i liked it.
  15. there would be a difference between the cream and injecting the liquid. obviously the cream would be a vastly reduced dose. it would make logical sense if a cream was permitted and an injection of the same chemical not.
  16. given that trengove was alleged to have used the AOD CREAM and the club said that nothing the players were alleged to have used in the 730 report were illegal, you have to assume that the AOD CREAM is ok.... assumption being the brother of all fark ups
  17. incorrect. he has volunteered to stand down WHILE THE INVESTIGATION IS RUNNING. in much the same way a teacher would stand down (innocent or guilty) if they were being accused of something inappropriate, while it was investigated.
