We're better off having Judd for 6 than Frawley for 12, and from what Frawley showed this year, it could take another 2 years before he's premiership-quality. That means 8-10 years of Frawley compared with 6 years of Judd (I know which one I'd prefer), and who knows, we could do a Port Adelaide and find another Westhoff with our last pick who can settle into our defence.

It would seem as though Bruce and Green are the front-runners. I don't want McLean to be forced into captaincy - he needs to concentrate on his fitness and his footy first.

I think most people are overlooking the biggest factor here, and that is that West Coast will take whatever they can get their hands on. Judd will nominate the club he wants, and if West Coast doesn't comply, they will get nothing for the greatest player in the league. They can't afford this, so they will be forced into dealing with whoever Judd wants. This means that they will make deals with the likes of Collingwood and Essendon regardless of previous dealings. It all comes down to which club makes the best presentation to Judd over the next week. If Melbourne can offer him (not WC) something Collingwood cannot, we are in with a shot.

Robbo - poor coaching. Needed to go deep forward when we were being slaughtered to give us another option so we weren't Neitz-centric. And then when he got injured he could hardly move, Thomas got a goal becuase he couldnt move to take a mark. I've lost hope. He couldn't kick a goal up forward, now he can't hold a second or third tall down back. All he can do is mark, which is nice, but he needs to work on kicking. Can't see him becoming a quality CHB or CHF (which is what we need).

Completely agree. Another defender will take the pressure off Rivers so he doesn't get tied down or beaten by a strong forward.
