  1. Yeah from what I saw on the TV the storm looked massive, I hope no-one here sustained any damage? And apropos of the stadium...... Flooded Etihad Stadium requires 'major clean-up' after Melbourne storm Repair work at Etihad Stadium is likely to take several months after a section of roof caved in during the heavy storm that lashed Melbourne on Saturday. The entertainment area at the southern end of the stadium was declared off limits after the roofing fell in, which forced the start of Saturday night's NAB Cup semi-final between St Kilda and Fremantle to be delayed by 20 minutes. However the damage is not expected to disrupt any coming events, including next weekend's pre-season final between Western Bulldogs and St Kilda.
  2. And what are the odds of this actually happening !!!
  3. Cheers Jarka......
  4. I just want to stop by here and thank everyone that saw the game for their excellent reviews and opinions..... It sounds like it was a very bitter/sweet afternoon but, injuries aside, maybe, just maybe a step in the right direction. So thanks again fellas, your dedication is not without appreciation !!!
  5. That really is quite an indictment on the station !!! But there does tend to be a general injury hysteria among media folk. That being said..... Jurrah hurt as Crows edge Dees
  6. And at 6-336 you have your wish HT......
  7. You seem so proud, congrtaulations !!! Him, and they date back years........ And I have no issue with where Australian cricket is at, a step back from near invincibility was always going to happen, and they have to work through it as best they can. But there is a lot of talent in our country, however not all of it is going to match what we had, nor is it automatically going to be ready on command. So to me that is not an issue, it's just time, although that being said we still should have kept a hold of the Ashes !!!
  8. Fair enough but it was just a simple question in that it was clearly a wicket that if you win the toss you would bowl first on. Ponting didn't make that decision (not a criticism) so the Indians copped (by their own design) most of the difficulties the pitch had to offer. I think he has his good moments as a captain, but I have real and long term issues with a number of aspects of his leadership. True as is the reverse, so the criticism and compliments should go both ways then. But you don't hear "oh the captain made a poor decision bringing this bowler on" do you? !!!
  9. Geez Rhino, where in my comments have I ever given you the opinion that I am so stupid as to require your condescension....... True but IMO his captaincy skills get lauded a little too much..... He is perfectly fine captain in most situations, that had little choice but to show faith in the inconsistent and the young. And he came out trumps so well done to him for doing it, but his captaincy can be sketchy and as inconsistent as Johnson's bowling at time. Just my opinion <_< !!!
  10. He didn't win the toss did he? He batted alright but his bowlers did the damage. So I'm more inclined to congratulate Doug Bollinger for the figures he got.
  11. Amen to that..... This is fantastic new Two Sheds, thanks for keeping us updated.
  12. Yeah Blues.....Woo Hoo :D !!!
  13. Very clever !!!
  14. He's contracted for another year........
  15. And so say us all......hopefully !!!
  16. It most definitely is..... We have the same initials. Congrats for picking that up !!!
  17. I most certainly do !!!
  18. 1. Davey 2. Moloney 3 Frawley 4. Jones 5. Bruce, Morton or Sylvia (can't decide)
  19. Ok, so then how are they responsible for anything other than fostering ordinary TV?
  20. No need to apologise Mr Magic, your insight is always welcome..... I must admit I was astounded to read some of the comments regarding Ball on Saintsational, especially after his excellent GF. I know it is hard when a player chooses to leave, but there seemed to be a lot of negative hysteria (for want of a better word). What are your thoughts?
  21. Swans have chopped Ryan Brabazon, Matthew Laidlaw and Daniel O'Keefe..... Anyone interested ?!!!
  22. Almost make you miss the little man......well, almost !!!
  23. My dear rpfc, you sure you don't need to put your head down for a little while :D ?!!!
  24. Apparently a large number of rather hysterical Saints fans didn't, given their attacks on his attitude, work ethic and performance in that match...... He also seems to owe everyone at Moorabbin, including the coach who doesn't seem to want to play him, an apology for wanting to leave and knowing it prior to the Grand Final. And because of this he therefore wasn't fully committed to the cause of winning, thus (maybe even singularly) causing the loss . Personally watching him play in that match dispelled any doubts I may have had about him prior to seeing it. I'm with H, I hope we get him (but definitely via the PSD) !!!
  25. Yep because these guys are exactly the same type of player as Miller, who perform the same function, in the same position in the team...... We are all too sadly and embarrassingly aware of your downright hatred of Brad Miller but seriously you're comparing apple and oranges in terms of team function.
