It doesn't clash and I also think we should have worn our original jumper...... And here is where I can't work out whether the alternative strip is actually a "clash" jumper or an "away" jumper. I'll buy clash, but only just !!!

They don't really clash with anyone...... This is only an issue for those clubs who have very similar colours or designs in their jumper, ie Colllingwood and North. We are close to a couple of other clubs and therefore we and they should have a jumper organised. Although I hate the idea of this being used as an away strip that is not needed. And I also can't work out who Hawthorn clash with?

You really must be getting sick of that dead horse Clint !!! As for the article it's not wrong its just not quite right either. We aren't and shouldn't be without criticism, I mean look at where we are and have been for quite some time now........ But the reality is never as simple as the stats Sheahan has thrown up. Rebuilds, done properly and with any faint hope of success on the end of them, shouldn't be done quickly or they will not work, and rebuilding is exactly what we are and what we have been doing. You can blame youth for the pathetic performance on QB (kids do need time and games to develop despite the sudden apparent rush) or not, depends on your perspective, but the unfortunate truth is that our seniors are not exactly setting the world on fire either. The difference between Melbourne and Richmond as I see it is that we have gotten better (for the most part), but it is still slow and that is the unfortunate reality of our current situation.

Despite having played a month of good (probably his best) football, this does not or should not, automatically qualify him to be a leader..... Sorry but a flash of good form (from a staggeringly inconsistent and underachieving player) alone does not get him into the leadership group. He needs to show a hell of a lot more for a hell of a lot longer before even being considered and even then maybe not. How about he continues to do his job well, that would be a good start, as we should all be enjoying his steps forward into the player we want to see from him.
