Just watching the TV delayed telecast of Haw vs Coll, and in this instance , Franklin's arc was gone;he did not have it when in this position on the ground. I think he has the umpires fooled, and get an advantage when kicking from the right side of the ground. He should be made to start to the right of the line between the man on the mark & the goal,and have no extra advantage.

They will not drop anybody , unless their are injuries. Bailey and his team wants a culture at the club, of every player earning his spot at the club, and one cannot drop a player if he has played well.

Spoke to Gawn at training last week, and he stated he would be ready to play in 4-5 weeks

I agree with the above. A good realistic assessment, but need to include the injured Jurrah, Blease, Tapscott, Petterd,with Gawn a real unknown !!!

On a previous thread at a luncheon where Bailey spoke about Brock . They were that Brock was no loss, as his body is shot, is a poor decision maker and lacks a-grade skills. I am not sure if Bails would be that direct??

Melbourne are thinking that Cal Morton might be able to be played up forward. He is 192 cm - 6'4' Heard Cam Schwab talk about this.

I think the Hawthorne game woke them up, and they realized what standard of intensity was needed. It was a pleasure to watch them play tonight. Their pressure, and effort was fantastic!

We want him to play , so our players learn from watching a champion on the field. We have to learn to beat sides with champions in them

It is easy to take a negative view , when one does not know all the facts. We should have faith in our personnel at the Club , being able to select good players. Their are many examples of people being too quick to take a negative view about things E.G Compare the attitude in the media to MFC now vs after the Hawthorne Game. Things/Opinions can change very quickly. The best people to judge are those at club ,who work with Jack all week!!

It was mentioned that his bad knee was effecting his play at the moment. He only trains on Thursday, before a game. This would put a negative vs his ability to be a asset to the Club

I have not heard him on the radio or in the press for a while. Has any body heard him speak or noticed a press article, where he has been quoted?
