  1. Went to do the AFL ladder predictor on the AFL website but seems to be down and not expected until mid year, which is ridiculous. Are there any others that people have used recently as I can’t find any?
  2. Haha, I think you may be right! He certainly has all the tricks, would love to see a Zorko type game this year to drool over. He’s so strong around the hips and clean. I wonder why he’s not thrown in the midfield more often? I suppose we were a bit stuck without Weid and TMac previously
  3. Petracca has more upside I think, but up to him to push himself mentally and physically. It is great to see Brayshaw find form, could have been touch and go if he got another concussion. Petracca seems a little stuck in second gear but I’m excitingly waiting for him to tear the comp apart like we all hope, fingers crossed he doesn’t go all Colin on us. Needs and wants more midfield time. Both still kids with exciting futures.
  4. Has the fab 5 ever played a game altogether? Can’t think of too many. Viney, Oliver, Brayshaw, Salem, Petracca? thats a mouthwatering midfield right there. I think Petracca needs more midfield time to build his tank but I’m sure the club is well over it.
  5. His speed and accuracy by hand is absolutely elite, fine by me if he continues it! He sets up run by handballing further also. I would like to see him kick more as he has some drive in his leg also. A pretty decent overhead mark to go with it, can remember a Mark maybe v Collingwood last year where he went back with courage into a pack.
  6. Pretty sure they’ve changed the voting system this year after the Howe upset? This kid has courage in the air and strong hands, silky skills also, great pickup from the club.
  7. There’s a real issue with Rance.
  8. Weak supporters don’t cough up for memberships for 35+ years and donate money to the club and travel to most interstate games from my own pocket as well as all Victorian games. I call it as I see it, some don’t like it, on this occasion I got it wrong as I assumed the umpire didn’t see it front on and from the footage I saw it looked like the chest, as did some commentators. I also give credit where’s its due. Not many on here even apologise for being wrong, but I always do. I’m still going to say that Hogan went to ground easily, the force didn’t appear strong and Hogan is a big boy, it is what it is, all I care about is winning the next two games.
  9. I’d rest Vince and drop ANB, in Viney and Salem if fit
  10. I might fly up if you or anyone is keen for a feed and beer
  11. My apologies, it was a clear push to the throat, to me from the other angle it looked like the chest, I was wrong. (still soft by Hogan though).
  12. There's a white one there mate, keep looking
  13. Because he pushed Jesse in the chest.....
  14. Looks in the chest and not in the throat like the umpire thought, pretty soft from Jesse regardless anyway.
  15. Fairly easy to join the dots there hey
  16. This guy was born to play in the midfield, sensational last few weeks, may overtake Petracca soon.
  17. Did I notice we rested a few on the bench (key players) from mid way through the last also?
  18. Wheres WERRIDEE ...... WE MUST BE DUE FOR A NEW BEST 22 MAAAAATTEE
  19. Unsure what his actual role was yesterday but I thought he was poor. I'd be happy to bring in Garlett for him who adds X factor. The optimist in me wants to see him succeed but I thought he would've gained confidence from previous weeks and was on the verge of a breakout game, wasn't to be.
  20. Agree mate. Possibly Weideman for Garlett if we want to go in smaller also. In better shape now and winning with Viney, Salem and Garlett still to come back in.
  21. Well actually, I didn’t draw any bow, was more commenting on the cockiness of the side. About time you starting letting go of your ego and letting others have their say.
  22. Disappointed but there is also a cockiness within the team also that needs to be put to bed, Hogan also gobbed off at Carlisle before missing the easy shot on goal. A few weeks back v Hawks he rubbed David Mirra’s Head after a stuff up, was pretty much the turning point of the game. Also noticing a few cocky incidents during games, Lever last week. We have to remember where we came from and step down off our pedastal IMO.
  23. 6.Brayshaw 5.Oliver 4.Hogan 3.Hibberd 2.Gawn 1.Jones
  24. In: Viney, Garlett Out: ANB, Tyson/Weideman
