One thing I did notice the other night was Richmond players were always front and centre and we rarely had any. I mean this is bloody basic stuff, you learn this in mini league.

Assume we’ll lose, that way if we win you’ll be excited ? if we lose, Demonland will go into full on meltdown I think

The issue with Gawn is himself. Constantly tapping to outnumbered areas, to opposition players, gets angry and belts it away where the other team swoops for a fast breakaway, flicks over the back without watching who’s there, it’s a real issue and look completely like he’s getting ahead of himself, or just not smart. He’s getting a lot of hit outs but I’ve been really disappointed in Max so far, he needs to be smarter than this. It could be the difference between winning and losing.

That’s the major frustration though isn’t it, on OUR day we can beat anyone and when we have a bad day out we’re putrid. I think we were more consistent last year.

That’s half the issue as well, Vince, Jones and Lewis can’t execute anything. All good and well to rack up cheap stats but they’re meaningless most of the time. Bring back Daniel Cross

My biggest problem and one that’s the most cause for concern is why have we gone backwards, we shouldn’t be this bad and players have gone backwards in a big way since last year it isn’t funny. Big 4 weeks coming up.

Richmond didn’t play that well, lots of skill errors. They’re being sat on a pedastal by the media. We were just very lucky they didn’t play their best or they would’ve been 8-10g up at a half time

Yet tigers bring in a young kid called Higgins who tears us apart and looks like he wasn’t troubled by us. The young card is getting too very long in the tooth.

They have one less day break and some injuries and will still beat us

I was going to upgrade to a Redlegs membership but won’t now if that’s the case.

It’s the same every single week v every opposition and nothing is being done to stop it, it makes me sick, rabbit in the headlights crap. Last night we twice gave up 4 in a row, that’s now 22 from 27 games, surely Goodwin must recognise this by now? It’s a structural/coaching issue I feel, we shouldn’t be this bad with the back 6 we have.

If you go back and read Satys or others training report, that’s exactly what we trained to do, Hunt the opposition. That’s why it’s a coaching issue, if we hunt the BALL instead we don’t have to play catch-up or chase. It’s beyond ridiculous the way this side is being coached. Effort aside, this is one of the poorest performances I’ve seen for a while. Meat and potatoes football won’t get us far.

I agree, something stinks behind the scenes here. We can’t go backwards like this for no reason.
