Haven’t compared figures from last year but looks like he’s bulked up and possibly slowed him down?

That's why people are frustrated, doesn't matter how far you run if you just butcher it. Has inspired me to go back over the tapes now to watch closely what he's doing.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS

Which is exactly what I meant, not sure why you thought I meant it was a bad thing.... just saying their storm continues jeez -
Unbelievable mate. Whats the point of highest KMs run and pressure acts when you just cough it up and destroy the chain towards goal. He's clearly out of confidence, cannot believe the persistence. Thankfully Salem in is an improvement but thought Hunt was OK last two weeks.
-
! Unbelievable! Would've preferred Hunt stay in but what would I know!
-
I'm glad you gave Salem credit, he is actually as hard at it as anyone, when you watch what he does he's ferocious. I think most clubs are shocked and will be assessing players within their clubs. I'm still a bit shocked personally that Nic Nat got a week.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
SFebes replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
Not really anything to do with the drug saga, but this weekend is the Bombers' 25 year anniversary to the 1993 baby bombers win v Carlton. According to radio, the reunion will be without James Hird, Gavin Wanganeen, Dean Wallis, Mark Thompson (c), Sean Denham and possibly others. Bit of a kick in the guts to the club I reckon. -

According to the radio, two other players have come forward, unsure who at this stage. -

That's my take too. Unsure what goes on in the background but from the outside the AFL has tidied up many things since his incident and a cultural shift Australia wide is much better than it was 5-10 years ago. Things take time to evolve unfortunately. -

Speaking on SEN now - press conference Seems like he has it in for the AFL and trying to make a statement. Not just about what happened years ago but whats happening today also in the dark rooms of the AFL. Going to human rights commission and federal court. No detail to work with to form judgement -

Haven't heard that yet but his lawyer did speak to SEN yesterday afternoon, some clarity on the whole thing would be good as he's apparently going after his team mates also. -

Unsure at this stage but from what I'm trying to piece together I think it was from his teammates, maybe changeroom stuff? Hard to piece this story together, what happened was awful, unsure why it's flared up all of a sudden, maybe after the Ross Lyon issue it sparked up again. Think hes just been delisted in the NFL also? Was this the guy who had a raking left foot that they were calling super-boot or was it someone else? -
Angus' mum just spoke to SEN, key takeaways: Mum is going to GABBA to watch Angus and spend time with Will before he flies back to Afghanistan. Angus to stay in Brisbane with family for mothers day Both parents and extended family are from Perth and born there, Perth is their second home Mum thrilled that two brothers are playing in WA Parents Left 3/4 time at MCG to go watch Angus at Etihad Angus talks a lot when hes happy, has been happy last two weeks, sounded like he wasn't happy about not playing earlier in year (my opinion). Mum is hoping his form continues and so to Melbourne's so we make finals Nathan Burke has been mentoring Angus re helmet and concussion and had a family talk with his mum. No mention of contract or future whereabouts.

Garry Lyon just mentioned Mahoney a chance to replace Jackson and threw up a name, think it was Ryan Larkin? Anyone know him? edit: Ryan not Brian , Jackson not Hackson

Actually don’t know, he was mourning the loss of Mohammad Ali then I can’t remember too much after that, he was a gun at Collingwood, can’t remember too many of his games at dees. Hope he’s doing ok. -

Sounds like his debut game he was racially abused and reported it to the captains and coach intra game, unsure what’s happened after that but obviously true as the Collingwood supporter lost his membership and the the player who abused him had to do community service. Pretty disgraceful, first game as a young kid, you’ve got to feel for him. -
I thought Jeff and Kobe both lived in Victoria these days?

What’s Oscar worth? Some commentary this week on radio that Tom may be worth $750-$800 now.

Will Jackson renew Goodwins contract before he goes? Or pass it all over to the new guy?

Demonland Podcast LIVE Tonight (9/5) @ 8:30pm
SFebes replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Discussion topic ideas: Our upcoming run. v Gold Coast A v Carlton MCG v Adelaide MCG v Bulldogs ES v Collingwood MCG BYE. We would have to win about 4 from those 5 to stay in touch as we have a tough run home Peter Jackson needs his own statue Garlett still has a spot in the side, goal kicking X factor Consistency of Omac -
Anyone got any ideas of potential replacements they'd like? Perhaps someone from Geelong or Hawthorn or Sydney?

Love him and will be sad to see him go, turned the club around all by himself basically when nobody wanted us, a club legend in my eyes.
