PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Play Jeffo and Fullarton both close to goal to drag their key defenders to the goal square. Make Freo defend height - Lions select Hipwood for that reason alone

Key position forward - Archie Ludowyke
Everytime someone says we traded our first pick I respond like you - we will have multiple FRP

Letter from Brad Green
To me if we don't get an industry experienced hard hitting CEO I will start getting concerned that current short term issues may become long term issues

Have Shand and Crowe 'left the building'?
Gold Coast went with fearless as a comparison. Helps having an academy however they are living by it thus far

POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Saw Richmond live on Saturday - id say they start faves against us. Quality is lacking in spots as you would expect however they are playing as a connected unit and work in unison.

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Cats by 7, we turn our season around

The Oscar Allan Thread
Mitchell as coach is a massive attraction for players as is the ability to be attacking and play with flair. Hope they have a good salary cap manager

The Kalani White Thread
job security beats winning any day (joking😀 ) Seriously though I think GCS are set at most positions for the time being based on what I saw on Saturday

Harvey Langford Rising Star nomination Rd 3
Not where you start it is where you finish. Go Harvey, I see big things for him

End of Era
How i see it. Ive never seen our team challenged so much as they were in 2022. Its true what they say, everyone brings their best to play the premiers and the season simply was a few games too long. 2023 we had almost no forward and still lost close finals. Matthew Lloyd and others said it yesterday, premierships are hard to win so one is still a great achievement. That said I still have belief they turn it around this week and we get injured players back quickly, who knows!

Melbourne Fans Mindset
My view as well. I think we were 9 goals to 1 against St Kilda halfway through the 2nd when he did it. Forward line has not been the same since and in 2021 it was seriously elite. Seeing Petty shifted forward on Saturday reinforced that without a marking CHF option, were stuck.

6 Bowey 5 Langdon 4 Oliver 3 Rivers - takes a bit to turn a game around from the start he had 2 Chandler 1 Langford

Darren Burgess Potential Return to Victoria
The most important loss from our 21 premiership team IMHO. Never has our list been fitter than when he was here

Jack Viney Extends Contract Until 2028
Turn his back on significant interest - what reporting. I say he is staying where his interests lie

Delistings 2024
Would have thought Kentfield would be given more than 6 months

Draft Capital
I look at it as trading known quantities for unknown quantities

Jack Viney Extends Contract Until 2028
No they are lining up the story that says we give out contracts too easily
-
When you knew 2024 was over?
Preseason - it was 2019 like with the volume of players in rehab. Can't play a season in this gruelling league with so many underdone - bring on 2025 - we will be back
-
COACHES VOTES: Round 20
Didnt see that GWS won by 10 goals in the paper. Maybe Goody is sending a message

First quarter centre square stuff
Bang on - we have a lot of young legs that are maturing into new roles or are maturing full stop. Good signs for 2025 though
