Pavlich is an out and out superstar IMO. He may have not been able to win them a few matches at the end in the past, but i can guarantee in many of those games he was the reason they were a shot in the first place

What cheers me up is that I'll be able to watch Maric throughout '09 and '10, not so worried about his non selection. If White and Yze are getting farewell games, why in Adelaide? Why not give them one at the 'G in a game we might be aiming to win? Ah well, in two weeks this horrible season will be behind us and we can all laugh at Collingwood

I stand by my question of you, what does Yze have to gain? Are you saying that he benefits because we will probably lose and therefore get a better draft pick? I don't see how he benefits. How do we, the MFC, benefit out of creating a list for the '09 season by dropping players that will be a part of that list for players that won't? Not very logical if you ask me

I'd be disappointed, and surprised, if M. Bate wasn't working his backside off to improve the right side of his body as it would have obvious positive repercussions on the team. All players have a responsibility to improve parts missing from their game IMO

Absolutely Iv's, i've often just though "if only the dees had a place in the city" Working in Fitzroy hasn't helped remove this thinking! Anybody ever been to the Napier? Don't anybody tell them Fitzroy is no longer. The Dees have suffered for a long time i think because of a lack of a "home" There's no where traditionally Dees supporters can gather, aside from of course the footy and club sanctioned events which (like last week's post match) can often be hard to uncover. Having a place where supporters can group easily would be a great step, but perhaps a fool's dream.

I just like seeing players debuting after really fighting for their spot and earning it. I'd see this as a position for the sake of it. After debuting I'm more relaxed, as players need experience etc., but i think the first game for your club should be a reward for effort, not a reward for another's injury
