  1. Well, 2,051,000 from the dinner, 100,000 from Foxtel, and an extra 150,000 at least from these 300 supporters (assuming they're exclusive from those at the dinner), makes 2,401,000 from about 460 supporters and Foxtel. Leaving about 244,000 from the rest of us. That means that 460 supporters, or 2.1% of our adult members, have raised 87% of the funds so far, and the other 97.9% of our members have raised 9% of the total

1 of them hasn't played footy for over a year and a half, one is an awesome (if injury prone forward) but lets face it, that hasn't helped Carlton in the last 7 years has it? And you've probably never seen Watts play a game, and certainly have never seen him play AFL. We're going to need a massive churn again at the end of the year if we're to have any hope of ever playing finals again. And if Watts is 1/3 of the star lineup set to let us "have a crack" next year, why wouldn't he be on the ground?

is right. If you feel that this year's full side was close to "having a crack," then there really is no point arguing

It's astonishing you think we can "have a crack" next year by making 3 changes to our starting team.
  5. Why did we get rid of Trav, he was our only in and under player! lol
  6. Great to see Arsenal go down. Though typical Spurs don't let me enjoy it too much. Would love to see an open season as far as the top of the table is concerned, don't see it happening though

Lol. Two changes to the team, a 32 year old has been who may have 6 good games in him, a 26 year old injured forward who has already written off playing for the MFC. One draft pick, an untried 18 year old forward who will need a few years to find his feet in the AFL and one other pick up from another club, who you don't even give a starting position. Y_M's team is looking better, and most of those are on the wrong side of being alive
  8. godees, clearly you haven't realised that not only is Bell the cause for our predicament, he is the cause of all Burmese political troubles, the death of John Lennon and the Wall Street crash
  9. Hands up if you had a whinge about winning last week
  10. 70 point average losing margin at that groun in our last 8 years. What is it with that ground?
  11. Tackling is not just about technique, it's about application, dedication, desperation and pride. Things we need to learn to do week in week out
  12. Accountability, Skills, playing at AAMI, working hard for our teammates
  13. I reckon Moloney was making great strides this year until his injury
  14. Tigers behind though Y_M, we have to cheer for them to win this week!
  15. I'll worry because we'll never win at this bloody ground, could be costly in the future

  17. Seems odd no one is already talking about the game. I can't see any of it, bloody Foxtel, but 23-0 doesn't sound great. Can anyone shed any light? Now 30-6, and some people had a whinge about our win last week
  18. Will the AFL try and schedule games there before a team is created there? Or will it come out of thin air? At least Gold Coast has some "history" of AFL matches
  19. So are you talking whether he "should" get one?
  20. Neither Bizzell nor Pickett played 100 for us
  21. Newton "illness," we'll need a stand-in tall forward. Mind you, round 22 no one will care if we just come out and say it's a farewell game, especially if Richmond can't make the finals
