It was not a special game in general though WYL. It was enjoyable from an MFC point of view but that does not make it special. Would you call North Melbourne beating Essendon on Sunday "special"? You'd be laughing or lying to say yes. The skills were some of the most amateurish I've seen in a match, not helped by the fact both teams fell into the trap

Anybody remember the Freo match preview on their site we were alluded to last year?

I'd like it if we could have designated places where Dees fans can go in any major city. Even in Melbourne, it's hard to find a place where Dees fans can congregate and watch the match together. One inner city pub, and possibly one in the northern, Eastern, Southern and Western parts. I started this thread with the hope of letting people know where they can watch the Dees play.

There was one when we were kicking to the City end, he was in an acre of space ball delivered high to him, he meekly put two arms up and the ball sailed over the top. Very frustrating

This always irks me, why is the top level open for games against interstate sides? Surely if it was closed, we'd need less patrons to start making a profit, and the crowd would become more intimate (look more sizeable). Win-win I'd have thought

It's bizarre that we aren't playing Sydney this week given how hard we tried to make it happen, Geelong Freo clearly deserve it more... I remember '06 the team went and saw Kokoda when we were 0-3, that weekend we played as a team possibly more than i've ever seen, winning the game with 16 fit players.
