I had flashbacks to our booing of Headland (which, apart from not liking the bloke in general, never made sense to me). It seemed the more we booed, the more he got the ball rather than the other way around. Certainly fired him up that day

Why has it been such a long time since our midfield regularly kicked goals? Even in our finals period, it never seemed like we had goal kicking midfielders - not since 2000. I'd like to see this rectified, I feel it would take a lot of pressure off our beleagured forward line

Dappa, I thought they'd cop it as well, but from what I've read today, we seem to be on the receiving end. Christ, they're a finals bound team who couldn't put us away. How can we come off looking like the bad guys in that type of exchange? For all the poor scoring on our end, it wasn't great for the South Australians. We outscored Brisbane, although I suppose that doesn't matter because they player Geelong. We almost scored as much as Port, paraded as world-beaters mid-week, did at home - though I suppose that doesn't matter. Obviously I'm not happy with our game (note, I'm not saying our endeavour) but if I was a journalist my focus would well and truly be on the "better" team - because they allowed a team who kicked one goal in 3 and a half quarters to almost snatch the game.

I think she's great, certainly has a bit of Gerard Whately in the way she describes the game. Calls it well, I recognise her voice from a sporting show but I can't place it (ironically I can picture her face too) About time footy provided a commentary position for a female, after all, about 50% of fans are female - and not just that, fair go. If she's earnt her spot then good on her

6 Newton...? No? I thought Davey was excellent again, Mclean clearly our best and Moloney was great as well. Skipper dug deep, wiley veteran he is. McDonald has absolutely every little trick in the book.
