  1. What'd Judd tell the West Coast boys when he was there?
  2. Different heritage can mean a different pronunciation
  3. It also looked like he's just not used to playing against men. In the first quarter he ran at a Geelong player (Milburn maybe) in our forwardline like he was going to spin around/push off him. Instead he got drilled. The boy needs to be kept in the team for as long as possible to give him the best chance to aclimatize
  4. I wonder if Bennel will be given a rest this week, or if they'll wait a week so he can play in his home town. I'd love to see Grimes in the Seniors. He's a class act who deserves a taste of the big time IMO, the more he sees the quicker he will develop. Dunn, Bate would be concerned about their spots I'd think
  5. And Sylvia for a First Round draft pick B)
  6. Man in 6th game has poor showing...STOP THE PRESS
  7. I love J-Riv and feel he can read the play very well, but it seems he often relies on this far too much instead of focussing on his direct opponent. Bennel could probably do with a rest soon. Petterd always gives his all along with Bartram, who I think could be finding his feet again. Bruce's disposal continues to send me to an early grave, though he's far from alone. Maric had a shocker, hopefully after a few weeks in the Seniors he'll start to get into a rhythm. Sylvia didn't do enough yet again. Davey is in a purple patch of form, Frawley is starting to show that his good flashes of previous seasons are not just flash in the pan stuff. Can't say I agree with Martin going up forward, but I'm also not vehemently opposed. I love McDonald. Obviously not our best player, but alwasy tries his guts out. Next week: Bennel out (Bate would still be considered very lucky to hold his spot if he does) Grimes in
  8. Mine's not an injury...don't know if you'd call it a disease, I suppose it could just be described as an ailment. Depth perception isn't my strong point!
  9. 6 Morton 5 Davey 4 Frawley 3 Jones 2 Bartram 1 Mclean
  10. Champ, he kicked 5.2. So I can't think of any more "terrible misses"
  11. I actually am sight impaired (I don't look out of my right eye). While I see where you're coming from, I don't think there's anything wrong with supporters wanting to see wins - after all if we did roll Geelong today we'd be partying hard tonight. But I do see how important it is for us to get 2 early picks this season
  12. Didn't see Watts' third, anyone care to describe?
  13. I'll give you one guess DJL. Sad to see a home team wearing white shorts...
  14. I, for one, just don't believe in the concept.
  15. But you started getting your papers delivered?
  16. It is a fantastic initiative. If you have any issues with it, not that you should, contact your local newsagent as that's who it goes through now
  17. Our next win will come on QB with the great Jack Watts making his debut, YUM
  18. 50,000 supporters to the game to watch Gary Ablett chalk up 50 touches on the same day we sign our 30,000th member. Nice
  19. I just think it's run it's course and is now going in circles. I'd be fine if opposition fans booed a Melbourne player for the same offence, it's boo-ing, it's sport. It'll happen.
  20. You almost broke a tv when we won? Wow, hate to see you in a loss
  21. Two pages - sad. Topics have been closed for less than this
  22. Our backline = YUM. Sans Jack Grimes as well.
