We'd do very well to reach 31,000 I think. Saints have a new membership campaign this, combined with how well they're going, should see them move past us soon. We should be very proud of our efforts coming off a wooden spoon year, especially compared to other finalists. North's membership looks pretty good too, considering last year's 32,000 is regarded as being "fake"

How the hell was Cox not pinged?!?! He whinged, like every other WC player when a free was paid against them, then didn't pass the ball, then when he did it didn't even reach the target (Dunn?). Bloody hell, I was going spare. The night before, some Freo guy (Sandilands?) tried to handball the ball to a Carlton player but fluffed it and the ball didn't reach the target, 50 metre penalty. Yet this, at a crucial stage, is let go. And what the flying f$%% was with the boundary umpires?

What was with the amount of mistakes in yesterday's commentary? Bennell 8 games played. BT twice in a minute claiming the margin was 15 points despite it being 16, and then at half time stating that we had kicked more goals than WC (7-7). Healy claiming Morton had 32 touches even though they were showing a graphic that had 34. They're just off the top of my head. As for PJ, he was good but boy did he need to be.

I honestly thought he was poor today, again. Especially his first half. It was good to see that he ran the game out and tried to get involved though, but not enough IMO and keeps making the same mistakes when he does get it (i.e. Jones circa 2008 attempts to break numerous tackles before being pinged). Needs to take less than 45 seconds to have a shot at goal in the dying stages as well.

Certainly shaping up as a great player. I was one who thought he may have needed a rest (not because I thought he was bad, just young), very glad to be proven wrong and probably have been given faith in young players playing long streaks of matches.

Morton Jones Davey Bennell Bartram And then a fair toss up. Bruce worked bloody hard, as usual, but also as usual, his disposal often let him down. Moloney also worked very, very hard, Miller presented well. Our backline really stood up in the face of hardship, Frawley going off really let LeCras off the hook. Probably have to give it to PJ.
