In essence I agree with you WJD, however, if May is gettable I would think it is a priority. He brings leadership, strength and a mongrel we are so badly lacking. At his best he would make OMac,TMac & Frost and others around him better players and free them up for what they do best.Yes, we don't want to sell the farm. First round pick is probably too much, unless we have stellar run and finish high on the ladder (unlikely). Prefer a player and second round pick. GC won't like that but if he really wants to go players usually hold the whip hand. $600,00 may seem steep but after forking out similar for Chris Dawes it seems like chicken feed. Agree, re second forward/ ruck and outside speed but I'm not sure any more vital than the potential qualities May would bring to us. Anyway, probably a moot point. He will most likely re sign with the Suns and after they beat us this week why would he want to come to the Demons? *Money on Lynch to kick 7 given reasonable conditions.

Amongst other changes, In: King. Out: Weideman. Yes King is raw but named in the best at Casey. Allows Pedo to go forward at times and share the ruck. Watts game suffering so needs to stay out of taps. TMac too valuable elsewhere. King surely can't be worse than Weideman when going forward. Agreed. StKilda had a good win against GWS but are blessed with no injuries ATM. GWS has star players out as long as your arm,we're one man down for most of the game in Kennedy,Hopper with a broken finger and Wilson playing out the game less than 100%.Let's keep the Saints win in perspective.

Keith Greg in a heartbeat. Just about saw every time they clashed,and,the most unbiased supporter would admit,that Robbie taught him a lesson on each occasion. Sure,Greig was a very good player but much easier playing in a star studded team.Won two Brownlows but so did Peter Moore.Flower much more skilled than Francis Bourke who arguably played his best football in defence. Travesty.

They're blessed atm..Even if u discount Wilson & Hopper (which I don't) one rotation down for nearly three quarters is massive in modern football. Add to the fact that Kennedy is quality and the aforementioned extensive injury/suspension list the the result has a massive asterisk. Withdraw six of StKilda's best and insert the Giants missing 6+ quality players and it's a 10 goal + win for GWS. 'Facts are facts'.

Might be a point on Wilson but other facts are inescapable. StKilda are building but not in the class of an anywhere near full strength GWS outfit.Even allowing for Wilson. Kennedy and Hopper down killed them as did Smith and Spencer for us v Richmond. Reverse the injury list between Saints & Giants and there is no contest.*Please note I despise GWS but facts are facts.

Agree. No love lost for GWS but the fact is they are currently decimated by injury and suspension along with criticall in game injuries. StKilda only missing Armitage.No doubt anywhere near full strength Giants flogs this StKilda team.

Hopper playing with one hand,Wilson concussed,Kennedy gone. Add Coniglo and Shiel underdone along with Whitfield,Buntine,Whitfield,Greene and Deledio all missing,amongst others,let's keep this win in perspective.

Never minded the sub rule.Helped avoid situations like this and us against Richmond. In fact, two subs even better. Few games then decided by injury/lack of rotation imbalance.*If subs unused they could be released to play at VFL when possible.

Robbie Flower would have to be the most underrated champion in VFL/AFL history. Far and away the best Melbourne player I've seen and I barely missed any of his games. Suffered playing in poor teams,regularly played out of position and was the object of constant opposition sniping. David Parkin has been quoted as saying that he is the best player he ever coached at state level.. Even allowing for my Demon bias,how he his regularly not included in the top 50 greatest lists continues to amaze. Keith Greig won two brownlow medals and I can honestly say that Flower towelled him every time I saw them play.Doubt that I will ever see a player like Robbie again.

Better than not getting the pill and he has been named in the best each week. Plapp has been full of praise. Not sure if he still has it but would like to find out. One of the better ball users and brings experience and leadership.

If Trengove doesn't get a senior game soon why is he on the list?30+ possessions in every Casey game this year with one exception which was just under. Goodwin says good form is rewarded.

Declan Keilty has been rucking OK at Casey . Might be an option.
