  1. I am hoping that Will Verrall and Kyah Faris-White really start to produce at Casey in 2024, Verrall is 200cm and Faris - White is 206cm. Verrall had a big wrap from his previous coach who really rated him at STH Adelaide.
  2. So glad that Kynan has gotten through to us I was worried that someone would spoil our party, welcome aboard Kynan. !!
  3. Sorry ElDiablo but that would dilute their Brand and their brand is quite strong and well known.
  4. Thanks Nudge that is even better, 189cm is a good height for a hard nut forward/mid with a bit of X factor about him.šŸ”„
  5. Sad to see Jaguar leave but we have had a long relationship with Hertz and it is great that they have stepped up to Co Principal Partner with the mighty Dees. Great to see Hibbo and Neita in the add as well.😁😁
  6. Even though I was hoping for Curtin I am very happy with Caleb Windsor, has speed, endurance and great foot skills and will provide that outside class that we were crying out for this year. Really looking forward to seeing Caleb force his way into our best 23.!!
  7. Welcome aboard Koltyn Tholstrup at 186cm (6’1ā€) and 86kg you are already AFL size another young bull at the Dee’s, love it.
  8. Geez my memory is really cracking up.šŸ‘Ž
  9. After playing so good for 2/3rds of the year it is very unusual to fall away so dramatically at the pointy end of the year. Why the fall from grace, one moment we are playing like a well oiled machine then two weeks later we look like a bunch of strangers. Something has broken down within the team structure, maybe two finals series in the one year is a step to far?
  10. I think the Wednesday arvo is Anzac Day, someone has slipped up.😁😁
  11. Great, that gives the new kids a week to pack up and settle in to their new digs before preseason kicks off, pretty short notice when you think about it. Plus interviews meeting the coaches, players and staff members, their heads will be spinning. Lol.!!!
  12. Thanks Demonland very comprehensive run down for next year. The stars are aligning for 2024 just need to get all our coaches, supporters and troops fit, happy and firing and 2024 could be as good as we all expect it to be.ā¤ļøšŸ’™
  13. Looking forward to bringing in some ā€œQuality character’sā€ into the club. Love it.!!
  14. 6 - Curtin or O’Sullivan 11 - Leake or Tholstrup
  15. Reading all the pro’s and con’s I am feeling pretty comfortable about this draw, No Cattery or Tassie and a decent break between the byes is a pleasant surprise. Feeling confident that if we get a decent run with injury we can be a genuine contender in 2024 and a big thanks to Kate Roffe for pushing for greater justice for MFC.
  16. 100% agree as well Kat and Jane I cannot accept that Maynard decision it makes no logical sense and neither did the Patrick Cripps media fiasco in 2022.
  17. Any thread that starts with AFL Media release, they just keep getting better……!!!
  18. Not a great fan of Ed’s but acknowledge his knowledge and love of everything football. RDB is a multi layered legend, hero, coach, family man and above all fierce competitor in everything that he pursued. I loved the broad cross section of people that spoke on Ron’s behalf the stories, anecdotes and love for the man was heart warming. I had never heard his son Ron Jnr speak before and he delivered a wonderfully warm and insightful speech which honoured Ron in so many ways, he would have been so proud of Ron Jnr and his amazing memorial. As his manager said he was part General Patton and part Star Trak visionary. I watched it on Ch7.šŸ’•ā¤ļøšŸ’™
  19. Thanks Lexinator my thoughts as well, last thing that I would like to see is our boys develop a siege mentality. They are on their break it is the Spring Carnival time to dress up and enjoy themselves and their friends, come back relaxed, fit and healthy for another crack next year.!!
  20. Poor Jack he came to us when we were at our worst, our player development was so poor that we burnt a number of kids, Jack included, he could have had a much better life if he had joined us now. Sad that he has had such a terrible journey to redemption. Good luck Jack.!
  21. Some very smart goals there and not too shabby on the tackles as well. Go Kynan Brown.!!
  22. Wow that is super by the club, I suppose they have to be more efficient now that we have 70,000 members. 😁
  23. Will be watching our AFLW team closely through the finals and hoping our girls can win back to back Flags.!!
  24. I’m with you BDA You can only rake over the coals so many times, my anxiety and frustration has diminished substantially, now just hanging out for the draft then I will switch off until 2024 as well.!!
