Layzie that is never going to happen we are to diverse and have different emotional chargers.!!

Try to enjoy the night and not overthink it. !!

When we walked back to the car we were all excited and happy, it was a great night the pre-game experience was moving and well respected. Both teams played hard tough footy and even though they got the rub of the green from the 4 adjudicators we still managed to kick 9 of the last 13 goals and were still running hard at the end of game. They took us on early and ran out to a 25 point lead and we took them on and clawed our way back to an 18 point win that’s a 43 point turnaround despite numerous poor decisions against us. Our better and most experienced players All played well, our second stringers all had a crack and our 5 kids all did themselves proud ( Bowey, Chandler, McVee, JVR and Laurie) and all in front of a crowd of almost 84K noisy excited fans, how good does it get.!!!! PS( The Anzac Eve game for those of us that have had family members who fought and were damaged in the Great Wars and those that are still representing us in the Military this game is an expression of our care and respect for all who have served.)

Best turn out of Dees supporters at a Home game in years we had the tigers covered and how good were we in the 2nd half.!!!
-
6 - Jack Viney 5 - Max Gawn 4- Christian Petracca 3 - Clayton Oliver 2 - Kade Chandler 1 - Jacob van Rooyen I gave votes to the two kids that kept us in the game and eventually won it for us. Lever, Brayshaw and Langdon all deserved a vote, a great team effort in the end it was an exhilarating and tense game to watch at the G and boy did we get behind them it was so loud in the second half.!!!

Great night great crowd and we are dishing up this drivel.😪😪😪

But if he kicks 4 goals instead of 4 points.???

Thanks KC and all posters very disappointing day for Casey I think that the 2.9 first half really killed us. You can’t doubt Dunstan’s endeavour and a lot had a crack including Harmes, Turner, Woey, Bell but I agree where were our other AFL listed players, they are playing for their futures and we are going to have to make way for a new lot of kids at the end of 2023.!!!

Enjoy your fish Mr & Mrs Picket, who knows most things are possible???

Thanks Andy another great interview Judd sounded relaxed and wasn’t frightened to talk openly with you. I enjoyed his story and was glad that it was easy for him to re-sign with the Dees he speaks so glowingly of the backline crew and the club. Another inspired pick up by JT.!!!

I travelled out to Casey Fields today with my daughter and two grand kids for the MFC kids Clinic. My first trip out there 1.5 hrs each way But very impressed with the facilities the organisation of the clinic, player and staff involvement and the large number of kids and parents in attendance. The kids got to mix with the players and have a lot of fun with like minded kids of their own age as children were split up into similar age groups. When the clinic concluded we were lined up along the fence line with the kids and all players involved came along from both ends and signed their autographs and posed for photos, etc, which took a long time. clinic started at two and it finished at 4:30, I felt very proud of our player group for giving up so much time for their fans. The sun shone for us and my two left feeling very happy with themselves. My only complaint was that there were no famous bacon and egg rolls, so had a hot dog and coffee instead. Well done MFC.!!!!

Thanks TK I heard it from the horses mouth as well today at the kids Clinic Jake said I will be playing on Monday. That was some Clinic never seen so many kids in the Red n Blue in the one place. All players were fantastic and signed everything put before them, the only players missing were BBB, Spargs, Kozzie and Petty.!!

Agree Chelly looks like Will Verral will struggle to get on the park this year and that’s a shame for any young player trying to make an impression.!!!
-
Thanks KV and all posters greatly appreciated, injury news looks improved, players sounded relaxed and friendly be hard for management to be overly confident after our miserable showing against the Dons. Nice that the club made themselves and the players available for 10+ year members.!!!

FT I am thinking forward pocket initially then half forward as builds his tank has a bit of X factor but he has a long way to go.!!
-
FT Seston is 188cm (6’2”) so a good size for a dangerous half forward once he builds his tank.!!
-
A big Thanks to KC for regular scores updates and all posters for added observations and comments. There is great belief at Casey despite losing a lot of the key components such as - marks, disposals, hit outs, contested possessions and tackles the boys still won by nearly 7 goals. It is a great result and a great environment for our youngsters and second tier players to develop in.!!!

DD those numbers really bare out what we witnessed last night apart from Tracc and Clarry we were pretty ordinary across the board.TMac and Spargs before being concussed were both poor whereas the stats make Tommo and Bowey appear better than they were. Melk started ok but can’t play out a game.
-
We looked flat they were sharp and their mids moved the ball by hand and foot fast and accurately and they held their marks in the forward line. They took advantage of the frees they received and their confidence was high, they outworked, outmarked and outran us. We looked poor was that Mays worst performance in the last two years. Very disappointing effort lots to do between now and the 24th.!!
-
6 - Clayton 5 - Tracc 4 - Jack 3 - Langdon 2 - Grundy 1 - Petty We were outworked, outmarked and outplayed by a team that had our measure and adapted to the conditions much better from the first bounce. Draper is going to be a nightmare when he really gets going.!!
-
JT and TL must have been watching this kid for some time Judd McVee plays with such awareness, skill and confidence that he continually surprises you when watching the game he plays like a top 10 pick.!!
-
To me Trent Rivers has always had a committed look about him, when you watch Momentum, Sound the Alarm and the Granny shots he was living the dream and I’ll never forget when he went up to Lyon after the game with the cup in his hand saying that we want to do this again next year (despite Gazza calling him Jordon). Pure joy and one of the team.!!!

Thanks LH great effort as usual, Riv and McVee are great additions for our future.!!
