Yes it is a curious state of affairs samcantstandya and very unusual to boycott a Premium AFL Event, nothing coming from the club.

WCW I noticed that there hasn’t been any Training Reports on the MFC website and I just heard on Ch7 that MFC are not attending the AFL Hall Of Fame tonight!! Have you heard anything on the grapevine, strange that we would boycott an AFL function.

No I want a response, we are heading off course, I want to hear someone say Gee it’s better than nothing but we could have come up with a much better alternative if all clubs had been involved, rather than AFL sailing by the seats of their pants. I want them to have a scrap, show our colours, ask unsigned members to get on board. DO.!!!

I keep going to our Website expecting to see something, anything regarding Tracc’s situation but no all we are getting is AFL or some media person rabitting on. I would have liked to have seen this story unfold via our club, even an interview at the hospital telling us how he is faring. Where is our new Media manager, wtf.!!

I am very interested to see how our club reacts to this idiotic decision, hell we expect to pay Gus in full but not from our player payments like having one hand tied behind your back. In that case Collingwood should have to share our burden.!!!

The club should take the AFL to court, as we are effectively down 1 vg player for four years, that makes no sense.!!!

The absolute worse part of this is that all four Umpires Froze under Collingwood’s Steely Stare. They didn’t blow the whistle to acknowledge the Mark????

Mick’s voice and opinions regarding MFC is one that I no longer respect, trust or listen to. I prefer to remain blissfully unaware of what our naysayers including Gerard Whateley have to say regarding all things Melbourne.

I am hoping to see Woey given a block of games and Kolt, AMW and Fullarton into the side and Petty, Chandler and Jack Billings back to Casey. I want to see the team play their hearts out win or lose, no insipid performances over the next 10 games Pleeease.!!

Agree DD I would love to see all those changes to refresh the side and give us the chance to finish the year running. Reward effort and send underperforming players back to Casey to rekindle their form and desire for the contest, will make us stronger in the long term.

Thanks DD I agree with Timothy R-A, we weren’t monstered as much as the score board showed. Forward efficiency and accuracy were our killers but the loss of Christian Petracca has sent us all into a spiral and I’m not sure what will pull us out of it.!!!

Hi WCW agree on everything Luker, looks like a great kid with huge potential. But on another note I am not on instagram Or Facebook however I am really surprised with the lack of club media regarding Christian Petracca, I was expecting to see a heap of shots of players and footy dept staff getting around Christian in hospital, etc. he’s our best player I expected to see more love, how is he travelling?

Demonsone if you go back to 2022 I believe it was Pendlebury that kicked Clayton in the hand and broke it, he didn’t even get a free kick and Pendles wasn’t cited for the incident. That’s three out of our top 6???? Who’s Next?

Maybe old Dee this incident will force AFL to modify the current process for all clubs and help improve player safety for all players. The AFL have ticked off the process that our Medico’s followed with Christian. Let’s see what happens.😢❤️💙
