  1. Congratulations Blake Howes use your speed, skills and height (191cm 6’3”) to your advantage. I am really looking forward to watching Blake debut on Thursday night. Go Dees.!!
  2. Thanks Kev another great report we are very spoilt.!!
  3. Thanks for giving up your time on Saturday Andy, great to hear that Woey has trained and of course Petty and McAdam sounds very promising. Go Dees.!!
  4. Thanks LITD I modified my original to champing which is what I meant to write.πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
  5. Thanks Andy, Binman, George On The Outer and all posters some great questions and responses, we are definitely champing at the bit to get this season going and wow 9 players under 23 possibly in the starting 23. Sad to hear that Woey is a bit banged up, still a couple of weeks before Casey start their year.!!
  6. Just for comparison sake Harry McKay is 200cm, Josh Schache 200cm, Tom Fullarton is 200cm and Will Verrall is listed at 199cm same size as LJ but still a bit leaner. Whereas Farris-White is a 206cm ex-basketballer who hopefully gets extra time to develop into a high jumping ruckman.
  7. I have gone off the Chief he goes out of his way to call β€œfrees” against us but doesn’t recognise a throw when he sees it. Don’t like any one sided nits, he reminds me a bit of Malcolm Blight. Doesn’t like the Dees.!!!
  8. To be honest MB I watched the game pretty closely and didn’t really notice Ed Langdon until 3rd quarter, maybe because there was so much going on and both teams were using the corridor more. We also had so many players that stood out but he did provide some good linkage when we did go around his wing. It was hard to take my eyes off zmax, Salo, JV, Sparrow, Laurie’s inside work, Billings kicking, JVR and Windsor is eye catching, our backline held steady. Tomlinson did what he had to do, McKay is huge, I would love to have a player of his size and power in our fwd 50. Fullarton played a full game in the 2’s and went ok backed up by Verrall and Farris-White and Verrall came on in the last and looked comfortable at senior level as did young Brownie and the Colt. With Petty, Clayton and McAdam to come back in I am feeling a lot bullish, but time will tell.
  9. 5 Bulls is even better than 3.!!
  10. That’s why they went quiet and Casey forgot their password. Lol.!!
  11. I have never felt so angry nor have I ever loathed the opposition scum as I did when that pos deliberately took Angus out, they set a new cultural low that night that I will never forget or forgive. They pushed Bumbers off my most hated list.!!!!
  12. Thanks Andy appreciate your efforts it’s great to be in loop.😁
  13. I love TMac he has been a great servant of the club and I would love to see him back in his β€˜21 early β€˜22 form but failing that Tomlinson has to fill the void and personally I think Adam compliments Mayzie and Lever. Time will tell WERRIDEE.
  14. Good interview with Max at Captains day at Marvel and a nice Gallery of all the new players with their families at the formal jumper presentations at Coterie function on the MFC website today. Max is looking very business like.
  15. I wonder where they are training???
  16. I think what Binman is referring to is the continued negative assault on Dee’s is verging on hysteria, one negative story after another. Grrrrrrrrrrr..!!
  17. It’s a bit unusual isn’t it, we need to be on our toes Vs Bluebaggers don’t wNt to let them think they have our measure they have recruited well over the past few years.!!
  18. Hopefully the clubs Legal team will be following this up with SIA, although we may never find out.!
  19. I agree wholeheartedly Dee* I also am beginning to wonder what powers they have to take someone’s phone and interogate it without a Police Warrant, or am I missing something here. Where were the so called authorities in 2005-2006 and the Essendon fiasco???
  20. Bravo marieisademon, Bravo indeed.!!!
  21. TMac and Hunter are listed as injured, id bring in Tomlinson and Schache to give us some height.😁
  22. A lot depends on Clayton if he is ready to roll then he Tracc and Jack will assume their roles in the middle, Sparrow rotate with Jack, Tracc and Clayton rotate through the forward line with Kozz and ANB which lets us utilise Riv, Bill and Taj in small bursts to provide fresh legs as required. I would keep Salo and McVee back where they are needed most and utilise Marty Hore in the Hibberd role, plus Spargs and Chandler need to play at their best. We also need to get games into Windsor the Kolt and maybe even Seston and Brownie for a bit of X factor. Billings will provide run and carry and McAdam’s marking kicking and class will create some havoc down forward which will be great for JVR, Fitta and eventually Harry when his toe is ok. It will all come down to whether the youngsters can play their roles, just as Riv, Sparrow and Jordon learnt to play theirs in 20’ - 21’. This will be their second and third year in our system so I Expect they will manage. We can cover for Clayton short term but as we all know he is the Key.
  23. Fretting about what we don’t have.😁
  24. I did say When he hits 96kg, write him off if you like Roost, but I see him in the Red & Blue long term.
