  1. Anyone else notice that the All-Australians wear similar blazers, but it isn't criticised..?

    Delistings

Hold on, only one is a must keep if no one else is coming in. If we had, for argument's sake, Sam Reid coming in, they are then both relegated to list clogger status.
  3. Factually incorrect, but I ask again... relevance? Desperate to change the topic from your ridiculous post? Even a broken clock is correct twice a day. If you're relying on Scully leaving as a crutch for your credibility, you're going to be disappointed.
  4. No, but how would it even be relevant to you talking rubbish?
  5. Would an extra pick have helped us when at the depths of our despair as a club? Hell no. Who cares? Give them another pick to waste. It won't save them, and it won't hurt us. I understand they were vocal against us getting one, and ideally we should return the favour, but I don't have the energy for something so insignificant to our future successes.
  6. Seriously? 1. 16 months passed since an alleged incident does not indicate a "16 month investigation" and no conclusion to an investigation in that time indicates there probably isn't any conclusive evidence, only the word of a jilted ex and some vague text messages. 2. As above. 3. Who has brought the game into disrepute? The kid's ex? He'd have to be guilty of something here first. Blows my mind how some people are so eager to put on their tinfoil hats on such a cloudy issue.
  7. While I'd never wish for a player to be cruelled by injury... I'd happily see Essendon sign such a player up on a long expensive contract, only for him to never get on the park.
  8. Correct - not sure any of this has been proven true at this time.
  9. True story. I would have been a teenager myself, but the supporters backed a truck in there and emptied a full truckload of manure infront of the gates to Punt Road. During Frawley's time in the hot seat maybe?
  10. The tigers may no longer be offering that same amount to Prestia, as the men who offered it may no longer be there come the trade period.
  11. Because it is not longer up for discussion; a deal has been agreed.
  12. Not even close to a "need". Don't want to become the new Richmond, or the old Melbourne.
  13. I know everything. But seriously, I read it in a news article this morning, can't remember where though. Even the title of "CEO of Football" would indicate that beyond being a nice and engaging bloke, Gale is just not up to it, at least on the footy side of things.
  14. Why does everyone rate Gale so highly? How does he escape criticism? What was a promising build a few years ago, has now all gone sour on under his tenure. He is the man who should ensuring Hardwick has an efficient football dept structured to match best practice, with competent support staff. At the very least, he is responsible for the off-field, which includes being in the bottom bracket for value of sponsorship contracts - all despite a large following and high profile.
  15. He can kick, but "outside run issue solved"? I wouldn't have thought so.
  16. Failed medical? Oh dear. Imagine if it scares off every other club and he has already burnt the bridge back to GCS? This would be an epic stuff up comparable to the Dusty Martin one of a few years ago.
  17. I think he has proved over time that he just doesn't have what it takes.
  18. Or alternatively... they know it's time to blow it all up and re-build. Why destroy the career of a young up & coming coach by putting him in a no-win situation (Leppitsch/Primus style) when you have a dud in place to steer the ship? Get some talent in, turn the list over, then jettison Hardwick.
  19. Zorko agitating for a move? Surely the Lions must be furious with their best and fairest publicly declaring they don't need a priority pick? Unless already told they won't get one and attempting to control the message.
  20. It's only monday ya big sook. Never appears until later in the week. Cry me a bloody river...
  21. Apparently Jamar was dominant for Essendon in their win. Could end up facing the big Rush in the prelim or GF if we're not careful. I imagine he'd know how to give Spencer a shellacking, depending on the status of his ever-growing limitations due to age.
  22. I think he'll initially try to distance himself from the club, purely to give Simon Goodwin the clear air required to take control without having the distraction of another key figure to confuse or dilute the message. Roos in time may come back, but I see him being more involved in development or even the growth of the women's game.
