Im willing to give the likes of Mckenzie Jones and Bail a go. They are senior mature players with experience. Especially against the likes of Freo we need all the experience we have. Until someone like a Stretch or Brayshaw absolutely smash the door down at Casey then these guys get the nod for the time being.

Basically already explained why he should be left out. I would put pedo as a much safer bet then Dawes. Atleast with Pedo he is a far better mark then Dawes and generally better skilled aswell. If Pedo Hogan and Gawn all fire come round one and kick a couple of goals between them then i cant see why Dawes wouldn't have to earn his spot through the 2s

Serious runs on the board...?? The reality is Patty Mcartin not slipping down to us probably saved his career by another year or two. he needs a massive 2015 and now with Garlett Hogan and Gawn to give him a hand up forward full time there is no reason why he cant kick 30-40 goals this year.. if he is cable of it.

This will be a massive blow for the dogs if he is out with an ACL. With him going down that leaves a huge gap in their midfield depth department. The doggies are my tip for the wooden spoon. While they just pipped home yesterday Richmond were still without Cotchin, Martin, Deledio, Reiwoldt, Rance and Ellis. 6 players that make a huge difference in that department. Boyd will be a gun for them later down the track, but their backline is very shaky. They have Morris who is on his last kegs and Roughead who is very injury prone. The midfield is their strength. They have class and talent but really lacking the experience now. I was gobsmacked with their recruiting in the national draft. While it was plainly obvious they needed key position players back and forward they went the complete opposite and drafted midgets. Oscar Mcdonald and Reece Mckenzie were right in front of their eyes yet they overlooked them surprisingly. They picked up Joel Hamling as a delisted free agent and Jordan Kelly through the rookie draft which i personally think will be the 'Tom Gillies' selections. They are in for a couple of years of pain.

Watched both games. Brisbane will be pushing for finals this year. Should have blown the game open but were very sloppy in front of goal. They controlled majority of the game. Mcrea and Bontempelli will be star of the game in the near future. Lewis Taylor will be right up there aswell.

Yeah forgot about that. His antics against NM were truly unacceptable as a leader. Im still willing to back him but needs to have a massive 2015.

No one can ever question his workrate. But his marking is atrocious for such a big key forward and he doesn't kick enough goals for me. We did recruit him to become a key forward that kicks goals right..? Im sure off field he has been very valuable but on field he has been a disappointment for me and by the sounds of the match simulations over the last two weeks he has been fairly ordinary.. Don't underestimate Pedersen's work rate and attack at the ball, it is right up there with Dawes. His Richmond game was one of the best games he has ever played and atleast he is a decent mark of the ball. I have him ahead of Dawes. Fitzy is still an untapped talent. His Brisbane game when he kicked 4 goals was quality as a forward. He is very quick and agile and I thought he is a perfect example of someone that has improved his marking. Just needs a good run at it.

Great report djr I am on the same boat as you in Chris Dawes. He is not in my best 22 and I think he should be made to earn his spot after his suspension. I would have Pedersen and Fitzpatrick ahead of him at this stage.

While im not that out I would be very very shocked and surprise if Harmes and Hunt were getting games ahead of these two.
