Played a few VFL practise games.

Nev Jetta has been awsome. Keep shutting down the small forwards and he will become a very important player for us.

Brett Kirk and Daniel Cross. Where were their extra bows? Mckenzie has a heart of a lion but atm he is getting taught how implement an attacking side into his game which is something I have no problem with while he is developing that in the VFL.

I put Jordie Mckenzie in the same boat as Jack Trengove of development halted early.. People are easy to forget he was leading the AFL tackles in 2010 as a young 19 year for the majority of the year and Scott West was glowing praise for him comparing to the way Daniel Cross prepared himself and played. He was also had an attacking side to his game and was winning some big numbers in the midfield around that period. He turned down a decent offer from the Adelaide Crows after his first year with us. Someone mentioned he is only 23 so still fairly young. I have full faith that if Roos can get a bloke like Pedersen playing good footy he will turn jordies footy around.

I remember he took a training session when I was playing with Yarrawonga back in 08. His knowledge of the game was quite unbelievable. A ferocious trainer aswell. RIP Tommy.

Its an interesting senerio. One Coach is a quick style free flowing game style while the other is slowing the play down ugly footy etc.. personally id love it if they just got someone like a Kirk who would know the game plan on the top of their head and just stuck with that.

Il be the first to put my hand up and say I have been critical in Saty in alot ways but very respectful for the mountain of work he does going to training and providing valued inside info. Especially for someone like me that lives 3 hours into the country. A job well done Saty. This place would be alot more dull without you.

Toumpas is doing what alot of our first round draft picks haven't done for the last 7 years and thats developing in the 2s.

As someone who has lost a relative and close friend to breast cancer I hope this thread is seriously taking [censored].. Stupid and taseless considering the this great cause far outweighs a kid missing out for two weeks. Bit of respect.

Just a quick update Billy has played the last 2 games in the seniors for Glenelg and has showed promise. Will be a good development for him playing against bigger bodies.

After seeing the absolute dribble he just wrote on here im starting to see it aswell.
