  1. Since Ken Hinkley became coach of Port they now train on Saturday mornings on top of the monday Wednesday Friday that they do. And we have already know how physically hard they push themselfs.
  2. Come off it Ron where have we attacked the man? If your talking about Saty please show me where we have personally attacked him? Lets not start putting him on top of other just because we have a disagreement on all things footy.I think its fair to say that even him would say we are discussing a very important football issues here and that we haven't played the man at all.
  3. Il be at the Essendon game. I actually dont mind going to ES. Good atmosphere when there is a good game going on. Im hoping we absolutely pump them. Give us much needed confidence for round 1.Plus it will be my only free saturday off before i get stuck into footy myself.
  4. Wont be looked at by the dees or....?
  5. Id like to see our fitness levels now compared to when he started.
  6. Il be honest, I was trying to sugar coat it...
  7. Some of the Casey players that played on Thursday will play some games in the development squad this year whats your point? Again missed the point again. I am not saying all will be available BUT I am pretty sure you will find most blokes will be free to play on Saturday especially when they are given bit of notice. Thursday at 2-3 o clock? when most young guys are at Uni or at work doing long hours? Il let you do the maths there.. Yeah im sure the crowd was... healthy.. Meanwhile St Kilday rack in about 2000 people today at Seaford.. Out of all places! argh what a cringe worthy comment. Our clubs professionalism has been poor for the last 8 years! It still needs a lot of improving and im pretty sure Peter Jackson is aware of that. To improve the small things need to take place and grow from there. We aren't a hawthorn or a Sydney where we can just cruise on through like this with this kind of timeslot. As much as its important for players it is just as important for supporters to who put in their hard earn't cash into the club. We are still coming off a 4 win year where there are still some disgruntle supporters who refuse to sign with the club because of the poor professionalism of the club on field and off field.
  8. Completely missed the point.. What has playing on a Saturday got to do with 10 Casey top up players? Casey has a squad of about 30 to 40 im pretty sure a lot of these blokes would be free on a Saturday to fill in. And exactly what program are you talking about? My issue is when you put a timeslot of Thursday 3 o clock on a school week you are going to get a lot of disappointed supporters and kids who are unable to attend because of work life and school times. A lot of these people would have been hanging all summer wanting to go to an intra club match to see improvement and new recruits only to be let down by the timeslot. Me included. Yes its all about the players getting match fitness but supporters have just as much as right to this. After all we are paying for this club. It is also another day to boost memberships if it was held on a Saturday. It would have attracted a lot of kids and families and merchandise sales would have gone through the roof. Nothing better then going to a footy on a Saturday with bright sunny skies right? Yes the family day at Lunar park is good aswell. But why not having one at Casey aswell while being treated to a scratch match huh? I wouldn't have had it on Goschs paddock anyway. Casey on a day like today would have been brilliant. Like I said I would have done a 3 hour road trip down by myself just to have a look...
  9. Only research I could find was that he was a prop for Xavier college in their rugby team. Having played rugby before, to be a prop you are generally have to be one of the strongest guys in the team with powerful legs to push against and have thick necks. If its true he is seriously considering his footy options and all goes well, we could be treated to a pretty powerful athlete in terms of body strength and power.
  10. I see St Kilda had their intra club today at 11. Was a huge crowd with memberships tents set up and jumping castle for the kids. Would have sold couple of hundred memberships and good time to purchase club merchandise. The club would have made a killing today. Get ya [censored] sorted MFC. The perfect day when most most people and kids have today off theres nothing better then going and see intra club hitout and buy a membership along the way. Instead we put it on a [censored] time slot like thursday. Even today i would have made the treck down from the country just to have a look.

  12. Well looks like the usual suspects in Grimes, Mckenzie, Terlich and Spencer will continueto roll on for 2015... cheers for the reports
  13. Good to hear Salem played well. I wonder if he played as a midfieder or a half forward??
  14. Mate my condolences to you and your mates and family who have been affected.A tough world we live in.
  15. Yeah we were saying that with Hogan last year.. They have to get through NAB cup first. Dom Tyson is a perfect example of when coming back strongly from a serious injury. Did his PCL in 2013 and missed a huge chunck of the year. Then did his hammy and missed first half of the pre season. The rest is history. He is now flying 100% fit. W are obviously yet to see how both Hogan and Toumpas bodies will react come Nab cup.
  16. No one has ever expected him to be a hard big bodied midfielder so I don't know where your pulling that from. What we do expect is that when its his turn to go he must go! He hangs back too oftern half guessing himself whether to go at the contest or not. So in other words he needs to grow a set.
  17. Found it a bit ironic this bloke came out publicly kicking and screaming at Neeld and Craig for not giving him much of a go and now they have gone ahead and given him a second chance. Interesting selection Just waiting for Brent Moloney to get named soon.
  18. How are Hogan and Toumpas living proof that they have come back strongly? One is yet to debut and the other is still borderline best 22
  19. No I don't like his sniping at other posters who actually add great value to the training reports like mo64. He had a go at him because he didn't agree with his same opinion on the drills and player mistakes even though they both watched the same training run. He prances around like his training reports are above everyone else when clearly they aren't. I don't come on here to read any of his reports. I respect and read the likes of mo64 who don't sugar coat things with any fanboy like qualities. And then to carry on like an idiot kicking and screaming to get the Christian Petracca thread closed down (which now has over 6 pages) just so we can all look at his fluff training report on the incident. Please..
  20. Dom Tyson did his ACL in 2013 aswell. Looked fine to me last year. BUT you seriously have to ask questions about this so called curse. These long term injuries are only happening to our gun players or up and coming stars. You never see any of our depth players get these sort of injuries. Trengove, Hogan, Molan, Tapscott, Blease, Petracca and even ANB......
  21. But its ok to take snaps of him while he is in agony.. pfft
  22. Pull your head in mate. No need to shoot down someone else report just because it was what YOU saw.Cheers for that mo64
