Brett Kirk is in his 2nd year of assistant coaching. So he already has the nod over Ling there. Give him two more years under Paul Roos and that would mean 4 years of solid learning from two of the coaching greats in the game.

Paul Roos and Peter Jackson will rarely ever leak things to the media. So I honestly wouldnt have a clue who is in the running.

Nothing wrong with that. He was getting clarification on what he had to do etc.. even in country footy I have gone up to the umpires at qtr time to get an idea of how certain free kick (which some just shouldn't even happen) are paid when you know you have done the right thing. Always good to sometimes get an explanation from the umpy.

Pretty sure he is close to signing a new deal with the eagles.

Who isn't a fan of GAJ!? the guy is defining the odds from all angles. I have never ever seen such extraordinary talent in what he displays. The game is a dull place when he is not playing. I hope he doesn't get ping for that. Absolutely deserves a third brownlow. He is daylight ahead of any player this year its quite remarkable.

Once Hogan is up and going its back to the backline for me. One thing has not been mentioned here at all is how good Tom Mcdonald has been this year as a defender. In fact he has been absolutely super form! Has shut down Franklin, Reiwoldt, Hendersen and Hawkins in the Nab cup. Frawley and Mcdonald in the backline is a formidable duo with Hogan and Dawes up forward. Natural forwards and backs in their natural positions.

Been turned off Bomber recently. I think Brett Kirk would be ideal. Basically already learning the Paul Roos game plan from Ross Lyon and would be just the perfect smooth transition after Roosy. The game plan wouldnt chance much which I like.

Not bad they have him playing on ball. Its 1st qtr so far and Sandy are getting done. Roosy pretty frustrated in skills errors so you could imagine him in the coaches box lol. Tammi gets right into the footy she loves it! Yelling at umpires etc lol

Just on Roos im at the TAC between sandy and the Bushies game and im literally sitting 2 meters away from the great man and his beautiful wife tammi. Talk about having an auroa about him!
