Lets not forget Tyson is not even pass the 50 game mark. At 41 games i would have thought the club would be very happy the way he is tracking. I certainly am for sure.Kid has enormous upside.
-
Holy moly how did i forget him! Yep Dawes out for Hoges..
-
Salem Garlett Mcdonald Hogan (leading contested marks in the AFL) Brayshaw (leading the club in tackles) Vandenberg (missed most of the pre season due to shoulder injury) If it wasn't for injury i would have nearly put Jack Viney in there aswell. His round 1 game was the best game he had ever played for this club.
-
What are you on about? Chris Dawes lost 8 kilos from it and now in career best form!Oh wait..
-
He is right but.. thats why i liked it because i agreed with what he said. Those players he has highlighted have all improved considering how far they have come from. Put Jeff Garlett in that category.I do get a laugh though how you get soo edgy and angry over me liking a post that goes against your arguement. That is seriously some high school petty stuff. Tell me, you surely must lose sleep over this?

I love it how you have a crush on me.Its cute

I like the sound of this.

With Zac Jones signed up i think we should turn our attention to this guy. We had a crack back in 2013 and if you go back a couple of pages someone posted a AFL.COM article about Prestia stating that he was tempted to come home but the only reason he stayed was the chance of playing finals for the next couple of years. It is now two years on and now they are bottom 2 side. I would love the club to be ruthless and offer this kid some serious cash. If we are willing to pay someone like Dawes 500k then surely we can do better with this bloke. My offer would be our first pick plus Howe. I know for a fact he really did entertain the idea but we were such a debacle that he was a bit put off with our on/off field drama. With a now stable coaching structure and board level surely the footy needs to ask the big question.. Would you now be seriously keen to come and play for us? Anyone know if the family still supply fruit to the footy club?

INS: Riley Jamar/Gawn Watts OUTS: Brayshaw Stretch Spencer Brayshaw needs a rest and Stretch is still a fair way off. Riley to give us the inside grunt and Watts for his class around the ball. I think we need to move him up to a wing. After the Spencer spray i don't think he will keep his spot so i think get Jamar back in for the experience and first use of the ball or go with Gawn as the number 1 ruck to see if he is up to the challenge. We need to find soon enough.

Id bring Riley in for Brayshaw if thats the case. -
Alex Neal-bullen 24 disposals and Mitch White 21 disposals. Definitely some good signs here. ANB is showing his ball winning ability lately which is something to build on because if he keeps his form up he might debut sooner then later. Good to see pigdog have a good game aswell.

Before sinking your boots into young Jimmy atleast do your reserch first before looking like a fool.Cale morton has never once kicked 4 goals.. show me this game? And the only game Morton tagged Goodes was back in 2010 when we thrashed Sydney by over 80 points and Adam Goodes kicked 4 goals and got 26 disposals.. Yeah wow he really beat him hands down that day..
-
Your kidding me right? Of course anyone can mark when your getting cheapies across half back. Don't give me this rubbish that he was doing it contested style.. Surely that's not what you ment.. For all the space Morton supposedly showed he would turn it right over with his dodgy disposals. He was by far the softest AFL player I have ever seen. He literally avoided any sort of physical contact at all cost. Not only was he physically soft he was mentally weak. Got gifted games early in his career only to get a reality check when Neeld came in and set our training standards high. Didn't wanna do any of the hard work and just cruised on through. Went to West Coast and nothing improved one bit. Woosha couldn't be any more quick enough to show him the back door.
-
Put a line through his name. Just signed a new 2 year deal.
-
Probably explains why he got 69% game time. I think Stretch needs to go back to Casey. Didn't really sat well with me when he was picked against the swans just thought he wasn't physically ready, and it showed on the weekend.. I am glad though he has gotten a taste of senior footy and none better then the top 3 sides of the comp. Back to Casey and let him develop and dominate some games. Bring Watts in and stick him on a wing and tell him to run up and down and get the ball into his hands as much as possible. I really thought he showed real class with the ball when he came on against the swans the other week.

I could only imagine that a Peter Jackson board level would have done wonders for Bailey.
-
Watching the bulldogs and saints play the way they do reminds me of Bailey era of 2010 and early 2011. Say what you want about him but on field he had us on the right track. We were playing some of the most exciting footy i had seen during my time supporting this club. Its no coincidence guys like Frawley Trengove Jurrah Gysberts Scully Grimez were developing really well and all looking like bona fide stars, we were all applauding what a young gun Jordie Mckenzie will be because he was tearing the competition apart with his tackle count. We were heading in the right direction on field. But thanks to the board administration led by Chris Connelly Cameron Schwab they killed of all the soul and positivity of this club. Im not going to go right into it as i will probably get a couple of weeks if i write on here what i really thought of those two. But if your board level doesn't support the coach and what he is trying to create you will have your hands tired behind your back which Bailey did unfortunately.

Glad this backs up my arguement about players have social life and not being at home looking in a mirror like some id iot suggested yesterday. At the end of the days these players are only human. The loss would hurt em enough as it is. And people like Saty are absolutely kidding themselves when they say players don't read these forums. Players do it and thats why in the inner sanctum of the club players are always getting educated on how to deal with these issues. -
Lumumba reaction to Garland in last quarter

Good on him. Don't underestimate his leadership on and off field. It will help us in the long term in terms of culture. -
Because Malthouse was brought in to bring them a flag and instead he has turned them into horse sh it.Roos was brought in to improve our whole playing list and culture which he has done so far. Too many times we have pointed the finger at the coach and not enough at the players. When are players going to stand up and take responsibility? And for the love of god do NOT ever put Mark Neeld and Paul Roos in the same bracket. The only positive thing Mark Neeld ever did to this club was get us Paul Roos! The guy nearly killed off this club just like Malthouse is doing at Carlton.
